Enjoy staying here when we come to KC. It’s in a great location and makes it easy to get to where we want to go in town. The room has a lot of space and a good value for the money. The staff is also very friendly.

Hotel was 50/50. Service was just ok. Front desk agent was rude. Parking in parking garage was terrible and expensive. Only 1 working elevator. Note: Park in the garage across the street. Room was great and beds were very comfortable. The layout of the room was perfect for our family. Close to restaurants and shopping was perfect.

Our recent stay at this hotel in the heart of the Kansas City Plaza was just average. While the location is convenient, a few things made the experience less than ideal. The in-room phones weren’t working, there was a strong sewer odor emitting from the faucets anytime you opened them to use water, and only one of the four elevators was operational, which made getting around frustrating. Although the property had a refresh a few years back, the hotel entry, elevators , and exterior are already showing noticeable wear. On a positive note, the lobby bar staff were friendly and welcoming, and the hotel offers snacks, candy, and sundries in the lobby—but prices are extremely inflated. For the cost of the rooms, there are better-maintained and more reliable options on the Plaza.

Two of the four available elevators were inoperable during my stay. This dramatically increased the wait times for movement between floors which was very inconvenient; particularly for those guests trying to squeeze in as much fun as possible during a weekend visit. Hilton needs to do better with its infrastructure maintenance.

Room was nice and clean. Hotel and service were great. However, the bathroom was little. Toilet barely worked. Every time you used it, you prayed it worked. Also, bathroom had 2 doors. One was sliding. It often stuck and hard to open

Great Hotel

We had a great stay at the Hilton Kansas City Country Club Plaza. The location is fantastic—right near the Plaza area, with easy access to restaurants, shopping, and local attractions. It’s a great spot whether you’re visiting for business or leisure. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making check-in smooth and offering helpful suggestions about the area. Everyone I interacted with was professional and courteous, which really enhanced the overall experience. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. I appreciated the modern touches and the attention to detail in the room setup—it made for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We were a party of 5 and only had three bath towels for our room, had to request others around 9:30 and didn’t receive towels for nearly an hour. There was also no conditioner in our room. Things were clean otherwise and hotel is nice and in a good location.
