The Elms is for sure a must stay destination. The staff went the extra mile all the time. The historical charm was a big draw. The property was so beautiful to walk around. Out door pool was closed for the season but that will bring us back during the summer. The hot tub is open until midnight. We used the spa and it was worth it. The city is fun to stroll through and explore the historic downtown.

Very nice historic hotel. Everything was clean and room was very comfortable . We did have issues with housekeeping showing up but the manager was responsive and fixed any issue. The grounds are beautiful , the spa experience was awesome. Definitely would return for another stay.

The chlorine from Spa and laundry was all over the atmosphere and towels, was horrible where we had to change the room, and not be around the Spa. Another thing that attracted us to go to the Elm hotel was the indoor gym and tubs and pool which were 2 floors or more under ground without elevator, hence you’d have to go up the stairs where neither wife nor I could do it, hence decided not to use it. The mattress was sagging in the middle- nothing could be done about it. We decided to do early check out after 1 day instead of 4 days. The manager asked to pay for the 1 day with $50 credit - Thanks. We drove around the hotel, a nice old and quiet neighbourhood. Friendly environment. It’s a getaway at an a historic place-not modern, some people may like.

Staff was exceptional! Julia for early AM coffee always greeted with a smile and kind word. Mackenzie and CJ at the front desk - ever helpful. Shelby in the restaurant truly served … got the cook to make poached egg yolk runny! And Onika (so?) was an excellent concierge in the spa.

The Hotel was great as usual. Great room, comfortable bed, wonderful amenities. However, there were a few thingswe werent as happy with this stay. We go the Elms twice a year, once in March for our anniversary and once earky December for my birthday. We have done this for over 10 years. We were put on the 1st floor, which I thought was going to be a perk. However, the 1st floor rooms were up a steep ramp above the actual 1st floor which was difficult to walk. At the top of the ranp was a room service tray stacked with dirty dishes. It remained there the first day. The morning of our second day, a housekeeping cart was parked next to the room service tray, but it remained there another full day before the tray was removed from the floor. And the christmas decorations were a little bit of a letdown.This year. When the elm's hotel was independently owned, it was decorated over the top to the hilt every year. Since it has been taken over by sheraton, it's tastefully done, but not near as many decorations. I love decorations, and that's the whole point of me going there.In December. I hope that they maybe add a few more decorations back in the front glass entryway and the lobby. Overall we love the Elmas hotel! forover 10 years. anniversary and one in
