Les points forts : PropretĂ©, Ă©quipements, infrastructures et conditions de l’hĂ©bergement
TrÚs bel unité et trÚs confortable. La disponibilité d'équipement de plage était trÚs apprécié. Ce n'est pas évident d'arriver le soir comme on l'a fait, il serait bon de mettre des instructions plus précises (ex. c'est la premiÚre bùtisse si on tourne à droite aprÚs avoir passé la barriÚre de sécurité). A noter qu'il faut pratiquement prendre la voiture pour tous les déplacements à cause de la chaleur. L'épicerie trÚs pratique au Queens' Marketplace et la plage sont à moins de 5 minutes en auto mais marcher serait plus comme 15-20 minutes, la majorité du temps en plein soleil.

WOW is the best way I can describe this place! Steps from the ocean and a miles long walking/bike path. We watched dolphins and whales every day from our patio. This place is a 5 star hotel! The best way I can describe this place is it felt like home as soon as you walk in. We will be staying here again. The host was awesome to work with.

The room was clean, well-stocked, and very comfortable. It is highly desirable that this unit comes with air conditioning, which is very much needed in Hawaii. The view is impeccable. The location is central to all of Kauai. Getting to any part of the island doesn’t seem very far away. My only complaint is that the television station options are not easy to maneuver and I don’t know if it was available, but I could not get any local TV stations (Honolulu). Otherwise I would highly recommend this rental.

This unit was fantastic in all categories! The ocean view was phenomenal. The unit was beautiful inside with all the amenities one would need. The A/C worked perfectly, also. We could not have possibly asked for a better unit, it was absolutely perfect. If and when we return to Kauai we will definitely rent this unit again. If you are reading this and considering this unit, GO FOR IT! You will NOT be disappointed.

First time ever visiting Hawaii. I can’t imagine a better location and condo to serve as our home base while we explored the many wonders of the Garden Island. Lena was quick to respond to our frequent communications from the start of our reservation until the day we checked out. This was a wonderful stay. The place was beautiful and felt very homey. The view is spectacular. We could have just sat on the patio for hours. We did all the tourity things and had fun instead. The location is good except you can't make a left turn out of the property and the traffic is quite heavy so it was a little hastle getting out.We enjoyed it so much we want to bring our grown kids next year.

Oceanfront getaway

My husband and I recently stayed is here. The place is great and has everything you need. Beach towels, small ice chest and chairs were in the closet. There were also starters of necessities. It is in the Pono Kai resort. We were on the ground floor. Walk right out on the patio (with lounge chair and 4 chairs with table) on to the grass leading to the beach. Easy access to the 6.5 mile or so bike path that we walked each day. There were 2 bikes available in the condo if you like to ride. There were lots of restaurants within walking distance of our condo as well. It was located right in the heart of Kapa’a. We could walk to grocery and shops as well. This place really had it all. The owner was quick to respond when we had a question. We would stay here again in a second!

Home for a week

We had a wonderful stay in Kapaa. Our plans were taking us all over the island and we really were centrally located to get everywhere quickly. The apartment was located in a nice resort with a lot of amenities and easy access to a beachside walking path. Inside it had everything you would need to cook with a fully stocked kitchen, beach with chairs, umbrella and cooler or relax. Our only other wish would be a TV in the bedroom as we like to watch movies before bed. The living room did have a nice TV and a furniture for lounging and dining. We had everything we needed to go out and explore and come “home” and relax. A perfect vacation spot.

Incredible view.Beautiful decor. Fantastic amenities. And a very conscientious host who has everything you may need and a lot of extras to help your stay be the best experience ever!She even had bug spray in the cabinet which helped immensely when we went on impromptu hikes! Perfect Week! Thank you, Lena and Ivan!

We had a perfect week in Kauai! The condo's central location allowed us to access all sides of the island with incredible ease. When we weren't hiking the trails or relaxing on the beach, we were enjoying the beautiful view and refreshing breeze from the patio of Lena and Ivan's condo or riding bikes on the path along the coast. The condo was immaculate, tastefully decorated, and comfortable with everything we needed -- ice in the ice maker for the cooler in the closet, beach chairs, snorkel gear, shampoo/conditioner, and so much more. The AC worked great at night; we didn't need it during the day. The bed, pillows, linens, and blackout curtains contributed to our wonderful sleep at night. Some of our favorite things to do in Kauai: hiking the first few miles of the Kalalau Trail to the beach and waterfalls (AMAZING -- will do the whole thing one day!), the Sleeping Giant (close to Pono Kai -- be sure to go beyond the picnic table for a panoramic view of the island), and the Awaawapuhi (DIFFICULT but so worth doing to see the breathtaking Napali Coast). Some of our favorite food stops: Hukilau Lanai (wonderful dinner), Gaylords Plantation (excellent lunch), and JoJo's Shave Ice (the Tropical Dream is so good!!). We also got to experience the food trucks and neat vendors at the First Saturday Art Walk, which was super fun. Finally, we saw at least 15 sea turtles at Po'ipu and an adorable seal at Shipwreck Beach. Thank you, Lena and Ivan for being such gracious hosts!

Overall great stay

Location was fantastic, beachfront with access to a great trail to walk or bike. Centrally located on the island if that’s what you want, and we did. Easy to get to north, south, airport, etc. Quiet, well-maintained complex with good amenities (we only used pool, nothing else). Our door code didn’t work but local manager was easily reachable and helped immediately. Owner didn’t answer a text on an unrelated question until next day so good that there is a local contact. Great shower, kitchen, supplies, etc. The unit and complex grounds were all clean and nice. Only minor suggestions for improvement:Bikes were a nice perk but need some maintenance- rusty chains and gears. Only two beach towels for Kauai where it’s reasonable to expect people will go to beach or pool daily and things take forever to dry. More beach towels!!Bedroom TV with multiple remotes, no instructions, none of them seem to work. One didn’t even have batteries. A DVD player with a single movie and no remote seems silly. Living room furniture is pretty uncomfortable for evening TV sessions.

Favorite Place I’ve Stayed in Kauai

This was indeed a remarkable treasure on The Garden Isle. It was a perfect stay and I appreciated having such a wonderful option RIGHT ON THE BEACH! The owners were extremely helpful throughout the process. Centrally located and walkable to a lot of great coffee and dining options (and two grocery stores), I hope to be able to return to paradise some day. Mahalo!
