Quite disappointed

The photos make this condo look roomy and spacious. It is very small. Not enough room in the living space for 4 adults to sit. Lanai is very narrow and tight. There is no air conditioning and the loft bedroom was too warm to sleep comfortably.This condo needs a serious renovation. It's looking pretty aged. However, we contacted the managers when we arrived and they did give us a full refund. They did try to remedy the heat with additional fans. What was most disturbing was the cost vs. the quality of the condo were mismatched.

Beautiful life on the beach

8 glorious nights on the beach, waves washing ashore. Sitting outside on the lanai capturing every moment. This 2 bedroom condo was wonderful. You could hear waves from your bed upstairs in the loft. Everything at your fingertips.

Great location, easy access off main road. Loved being right on the beach, beautiful sunrises each day. Rocky in front of condos but can walk next store to sandy beach. No a/c but left sliding doors open 24/7 to allow the cool ocean breeze to flow through. Made use of the beach chairs and umbrella. Walking distance to the grocery store.

Local vibe with comfort and convenience

This condo had everything we needed - it’s equipped with beach chairs, towels, and an umbrella. The lanai was a nice place to enjoy meals, drinks, etc. Kapaa was a great hub as there are really amazing mountains to hike, nice beaches, the airport, grocery stores, shopping, 
 It was easy to drive to either side of the island and if you’re awake early you can catch the brilliant sunrise. I would totally stay here again but if you’re looking for a boujee resort type stay this may not be for you.

Great Location but needs some repairs

We arrived on Saturday night. The check in process went smoothly. We awoke to water on the floor Monday morning due to the loft windows leaking. Contacted management immediately to have maintenance look into the issue. Since it was going to rain more during the week we asked if there was another property we could switch to. Property management showed us two other places but neither was of equal comparison. We decided to stay in the room and they are supposed to refund me some money. The location is great and the water front view is amazing. Other than that the property needs some updates.

Se have a very good experience, so far.

Our stay in Kapaa Shore resort, was a nice experience overall, although we found some issues in the condo # A309. First the laundry machine smelled horribly and did not work properly. The blender did not work either as well as the mini electric grill you have. The bath towels were dirty and stinky. Another issue was the outdoor light, is almost falling down. On my opinion, you should make sure all is nice and neat and all the electronics are working properly before renting it to the guest. Other than that the experience was very pleasant, Thank you!

Perfect location, great accommodations

We loved our stay at Kapa’a Shore Resort! The location is perfect—right at the beginning of the beautiful Ke Ala Hele Makalae Path for beachside walks and bike rides. Easy day trip access to Kauai’s south shore and north shore, plus the airport is 15 minutes away. Walking distance to main strip of Kapa’a shops and restaurants. Property is beautiful and well-maintained. Nice pool, hot tub and lounge chairs. The condo had everything we needed for light meals at home. Plenty of beach and bath towels for the two of us. Reliable wifi and entertainment options. Comfortable beds and pillows. Falling asleep in the loft bed to the sound of the ocean each night was a dream. Only con was short staffing during our stay in Sept. 2023, resulting in the pool and hot tub closing two hours early on a few nights. We had an amazing time and look forward to staying at Kapa’a Shore Resort in the future.

Oceanfront with a view

The sunrise and afternoon views can not be beat. Place was clean, had an issue with a shower and the property manager was on the ball and resolved the issue in a few hours. The clothes drier was a struggle until we figured out to leave the laundry closet door open while running. Beds were comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed for 8 days. There is a large beach umbrella, two beach chairs, beach mats and a cooler big enough for four sandwiches and an ice pack (2 in the freezer on arrival). There was also two insulated cooler bags that worked for drinks. No air conditioning, I love AC! Was not a big deal once we opened the sliding glass door and front door to create a breeze. Close the glass door blinds in the morning once it starts warming up, it was fine. There was laundry and dishwasher detergent, parking was never a problem. The beaches in either direction were meh. No big deal as we had no plans to use them, just drove a few minutes to Lygate for a fantastic swimming beach. Pool was great, over 7' deep on one end and shallow on the other. Sprinklers go off in the grass just before sunrise every few days, if you are on the deck it makes for a great comedy show. If you are in the grass it makes for a potential wet morning. Kapaa traffic is lame, but oh well, just go slow and let people in and chill, it only lasts a few minutes. Kapaa is a great central location, 45 minutes in either direction gets you anywhere you want to go. Do not miss Hanalei bay, btw. We will stay here again if possible.

Simply perfect!

This was the most perfect little condo for our family of 5. The most stunning view from the lanai, starting at dawn with a beautiful sunrise. And you can hear the ocean waves all night long. There is no A/C but the cross breeze there cools you off naturally so you absolutely don’t need it. The kitchen was fully stocked with all you need to cook while you visit. Super convenient to have washer and dryer in the unit. And 10 out of 10 for the location! Centrally located so you can head up north easily one day and be down south the next. Plus Safeway is right across the street. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. And the managers respond quickly to any questions you may have. Would 100% love to stay here again. I may have to

Great property, nice grounds! Clean and exactly as described. Nice breeze so didn't miss not having A/C. Awesome location, everything we needed was nearby or within walking distance. Would book this again!
