Die Unterkunft war super und wĂŒrde ich sofort wieder buchen. Die Lage finde ich ideal, um die ganze Insel zu entdecken. Die Kommunikation mit Vacasa per Mail war schlecht. Ich habe die Unterkunft verlĂ€ngert und hĂ€tte aus- und dann wieder einchecken sollen. Per Mail habe ich frĂŒhzeitig angefragt, ob ich in der Unterkunft bleiben kann. Dies hat nicht funktioniert, bzw. Mein ganzes GepĂ€ck wurde aus dem Zimmer gerĂ€umt und als ich dies per Telefon klĂ€ren wollte, wurde meine Buchung nicht gefunden. Das BestĂ€tigungs-Mail, dass ich in der Unterkunft bleiben könne, kam dann zwei Tage spĂ€ter.

Really disappointing that there's no late checkout availability. I had to be out at 10 am and my flight wasn't until 11pm. No offer to store luggage or anything.

This room has a view toward the beach and overlooks the pool area as well. You can sit on the patio in the morning and evening to enjoy the sound of the ocean and breeze coming in. The location is just outside the busier Kapaa central area, but there are several stores and restaurants within walking distance too. Overall my stay was very enjoyable and relaxing. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Kauai.

Wonderful view

We enjoyed the beautiful view of the lovely grounds and the ocean from this condo. The bed was very comfortable and there were lots of towels, including beach towels. The "kitchen" was a bit sparsely equipped, but we only used it for breakfast. The toaster was cleverly hidden behind other things under the sink so we didn't find it for several days. The sofa was also very comfortable. This is a fine place for two people.

We loved our stay in this great unit on this beautiful island!

The unit #333 was wonderful. It was a very relaxing experience despite the pool area so kudos to the staff for ensuring that quiet hours were upheld! It was very accessible to everything, pool/hot tub, the Sandbar, Beach, walking path, and the Coconut Marketplace dining and shopping. The location was excellent for getting to nearly everything we saw and did on Kauai. The unit was exceptionally clean and well stocked. We loved the view from the corner balcony.

Great getaway

I had a wonderful experience at this property! Everything was very clean, property managers were easy to get ahold of when I arrived, it was comfy, and the AC with added box fan made the room a nice cool oasis from the tropical weather. I stayed in the room by myself and it had everything I needed, and I would happily return here in the future. The location is nice too because it’s very close to the airport and it’s situated next to the coconut marketplace, local coffee shops, and the Lava Lava beach club. So you could easily just come to Kauai and stay here (even tho I definitely recommend getting a car to explore) I saw another reviewer was really upset about the cleaning services DURING the stay, because you have to pay, but I never needed that for just me. I would say if it’s 2 people and you’re staying for more than a couple days, then just schedule a cleaning for a day you’re out and about! No biggie. Still way better value than paying full on resort fees. This room is great and probably has the best view in the whole resort. I spent a lot of time just hanging out on the lanai. There’s also a guest book there with a lot of cute messages from travelers around the world. Thank you! Mahalo!

Great cheaper get away!

It was such an awesome location being right next to the beach and a marketplace! I would recommend renting a car or even learning the bus schedule just to branch out and explore more of the island. As pretty and convenient the beach was at this condo there’s far better and prettier ones not too far away!

Avoid this-poor cleanliness and communication

Location of the property is good and I would recommend staying in Kapaa however avoid this property. They advertise ‘optional housekeeping’ but don’t specify this is an extra charge until after you book and pay the non refundable fee. Secondly, the physical location is at Aston Islander on the beach but the studio is not serviced by Aston. The studio is basic and outdated and the bed was not comfortable. There is a good view of the beach and pool, however overall not well cleaned. There is mould on the curtain and was dried mud on the floor when we checked in. There is a small kitchenette with plates, utensils, and a small minifridge, microwave and toaster. The toaster was not working which was replaced however after this the on-island contact did not return calls or messages and housekeeping took 24 hours to return my contact (after i messaged the management). They informed me there is a $25 fee to change sheets and for clean towels. The TV remote also did not work well and there was limited cleaning supplies. The amenities listed on VRBO should be more detailed as after booking these details are provided but there is a non refundable fee. Save your money and time and book another hotel or through Costco where there is better service and communication.

Overall great space to stay in when visiting Kauai. Great location and friendly staff. However, it gets a little confusing since this stay is in a private room not a part of the hotel. Meaning if you need anything you can't reach out to the front desk.

Everything went smoothly. Unit 306 had a wonderful view. The online photos did not do it justice. We had access to several restaurants and bars. We enjoyed the nearby coffee shop IMUA. Parking was always available.

Islander on the Beach Kauai - April 2022

The property was maintained very nicely. The grounds were well manicured, the pool was cleaned each morning and the spa was drained and cleaned at least twice during our 6-day stay. We did not stay in the hotel so I cannot rate the daily housekeeping staff. However, the the front desk staff were exceptionally courteous and helpful throughout our entire stay.
