Really enjoyed the cottage; cosy, clean and relaxing. The views from the windows are so lovely. The mezzanine bedroom worked really well with my dogs being in their crate downstairs as they could hear us therefore were able to settle. The kitchen worked well - we had all our meals there as we just wanted to have some time away. The local village had some nice coffee shops for a wander and the local co op was a nice one.
The cottage was cosy and comfortable and located in a beautiful spot with fabulous views. Check-in was easy with a key safe for the key. A lovely welcome hamper was most appreciated. The cottage has all you need for a stay and is well equipped. The evenings were a bit chilly but the heaters soon warmed the place up. The upstairs bedroom is fully carpeted with king sized bed. We slept very well! Itâs a bit tight getting to the right side though but we managed ok. In the morning you are greeted at the kitchen window by a horse or two! It was great to be able to take our little dog with us but not having a chance to meet Sophie we werenât sure where the allocated garden area was. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and hope to return, hopefully not in pouring rain like this time!
We spent a month here as part of a two month trip around England. We loved the views and the countryside and the owners and their families made us feel very welcome. We would definitely come back.
This place is a lovely barn conversion. The views are amazing and the area is so peaceful. The hosts Sophie and Al are so welcoming and friendly and they provided us with a lovely welcoming hamper. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting a few days away.
On first viewing the cottage looked as described, however it was quickly obvious that it was not as it looked on first impressions. The kitchen could do with some TLC, with the electric blind being wonky when raised, cup ring marks on the window ledge, broken cupboard unit covering the boiler, previous occupants debris in the fridge, crumbs on the table and an iphone speaker covered in dust and hairs. The seal in some of the double glazing units has gone, leaving the windows with internal condensation.Externally, on leaving the door we could see a pallet against the facing wall with numerous empty beer boxes stacked on top.On the plus side it was very quiet, the bedroom &, bathroom were spotless and the hamper was much appreciated, however if we'd stayed more than 2 nights we would have raised the cleaning issues with the owners, but then again cleanliness is to be expected on arrival.
Wonderful cottage with the most amazing views and everything we could possibly need provided and more with a thoughtful welcome basket. Definitely recommend as perfectly placed to explore the Dales
A beautiful barn conversion . Warm, welcoming, with all the comforts of home. The hamper was a lovely touch! The perfect base from which to explore The Dales. Weâll certainly visit again.
Wonderful cottage to explore Yorkshire/National Parks
Absolutely love the cottage! Has everything needed to enjoy some time exploring Northern areas of England. Sophie is wonderful and responsive - and has a delightful family, who we got to meet.
I would highly recommend staying at the cottage. Lambs and horses about the Farm, beautiful country side and towns and everything you could need in a self-catering spot. Can't say enough!
absolutely a lovely faultless cottage, our hosts Sophie and Al were the best, friendly and most helpful host i have ever met. The views from the cottage was amazing, a lovely family atmosphere, most relaxing place ever. Will be definitely going back again. In my book 11 out of 10 !!

Cottage exactly as advertised. Beautiful location and views, Centrally located to many attractions, villages, shopping, hikes and views. Hiking biking trails right outside the door. Very nice family who do everything possible to make your stay pleasant. We would highly recommend a stay at Beamsley cottage and will tell all of our friends to contact Sophie for their trip to the UK.
We chose this property to come away for a few days as we wanted to totally relax and thatâs exactly what we did. Sophie and her family couldnât have been more welcoming. They left a beautiful welcome hamper in their Gorgeous cottage overlooking picturesque views. The perfect place to stay if you want country walks, pubs and lovely villages close by. A weekend to get away from it all xx
Absolutely beautiful, peaceful and calm. 5 weeks here in this beautiful cottage, it was hard to leave. So comfy and cosy, it gave you a hug as soon as you walked in. The most wonderful sunrise and sunsets I've ever seen, feel so lucky. Sophie and Al couldn't do enough for me, excellent, kind hosts. Surrounded by beautiful landscape, a great place to take a life reset. The doggie welcome was wonderful too. Thank you.
