I was disappointed with my stay as the hotel failed to mention anywhere during booking or check-in that it was under renovations, which created a less relaxing atmosphere, and to make matters worse, the hot tub was out of service for the entire duration of my visit. While the staff were polite and the room itself was fine, the lack of transparency about these major inconveniences left a negative impression and I would have considered other options had I known in advance.

It’s being worked on. I expect that lots of work is being done. I like the location and the people are great. The sports club - the service is amazing! I would recommend it to anyone based on service alone

The entire hotel was under renovations, looked absolutely nothing like the pictures online, the parking lot was entirely full we had to park at another hotel, the bathtub was so plugged that we had water up to our ankles taking a quick shower. The floor was dirty, the air conditioner was the loudest thing I have ever heard in my life, we couldn’t even sleep with it on.

I found that what was shown on Expedia did not match my experience at the hotel. If you have other options, I recommend booking elsewhere. During my 10 minutes there, I was unhappy with the hotel and chose to move to a different property. Specific issues included: - The room door would not close properly without using body weight. - The window covering could not be closed. Expedia ultimately issued a refund for this hotel.

Thank goodness the bed was clean and comfortable. Considering that the rates changed were competitive, it was in a general state of disrepair. Tiles were cracked, grouting was dirty in the bathroom, no attempt to facilitate room service and the “welcoming centre” was not convenient. I understand that renovations are planned, but to charge full price considering the present condition of the place was poor value

The hotel pillows weren't very comfortable, mold on the grout in bathtub needs to be cleaned, patio door window needs cleaning. The pool should be open earlier then 10 in the morning so guests can go for a swim before checking out at 11. The staff were very nice and a quiet hotel.

Sid at the Sandman Hotel was amazing! He was very attentive, helpful, and went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect during our stay. Excellent service!
