We spent several days in this lovely home, and it was a great base of operations for exploring PEI. The house is just as listed, very clean and comfortable, in a quiet neighborhood a short walk from the center of town. Gina is a very responsive host and any questions we had were quickly answered. Gina also told us about Knead a Brake, a bike shop/bakery that is within walking distance (about 40 minutes) of the house. We rented bikes and enjoyed several bike trips along the Confederation Trail which is easily accessed from the home.Thumbs up on this house and host!
Absolutely perfect place to stay. The location was close to everything we wanted to visit, but more importantly the details in the house made the stay incredible. It seems everything was thought of, right down to laundry pods and q-tips. The house was clean and ridiculously comfortable. There were moments we wanted to stay and chill at the house because it felt like a home. Book this spot without hesitation. There is a grocery store close by, a few bakeries and cafes, a gas station, a great food truck too. We didn't look too much into what was around the house before we booked (we focused on finding a location within a reasonable driving distance to what we wanted to see), so finding all of this stuff around was a pleasant surprise!!
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Everything was clean and the AC meant that we were comfortable even during the hottest days. The home was stocked with books and board games that helped keep our kid occupied. The location itself was very central to the places we wanted to see including Thunder Cove and everything related the Anne of Green Gables. There was also a grocery store, pharmacy and restaurants within walking distance which was nice. Would visit again.
We enjoyed our weekend in Kensington. I needed a place close to summerside as I was there for work. The House worked out lovely! The house had everything we needed!. There was nothing missing!
