The Kampground is a mobile home and RV park with a few spots for tent camping. This particular location doesn't have the layout of a mobile home, but the construction of one. A/C units could keep it cool. Place was clean and everything worked. Plenty of space to lay out equipment and price was reasonable. Communication with host and park was a tad lacking. Contacted on May 6th with question, no response. Resent the question May 14th with a response from property owner only. The rest of the correspondence was solicitation for staying longer. Not bad, but not as good as some other hosts. My frustration with the experience stemmed from my question if a parked seadoo was allowed or if the rule only applied to using a seadoo. The response was "no" to both. Which is fine, its their place and its my fault I missed the verbiage in the listing that they were not allowed. However, the first thing I see when pulling in is a parked Seadoo which remained parked the duration I was there. This was frustrating because their decision to not allow the Seadoo prevented the boat from being taken on other legs of my trip, for ultimately no gain to anyone. There was ample parking space and a parked Seadoo produces less noise than a 4 stroke boat. The park and host seemed throughout the stay (with other examples) to only care about their rules, liability and the transaction, not the stay itself or individual. Not particularly an issue, but some hosts are more personable.
