I canât say enough to explain how wonderful our stay was!!! We will definitely come back. Kayaking with the manatee was the best! The pool was great! The home was a perfect place doe my husband and I
The Kampground is a mobile home and RV park with a few spots for tent camping. This particular location doesn't have the layout of a mobile home, but the construction of one. A/C units could keep it cool. Place was clean and everything worked. Plenty of space to lay out equipment and price was reasonable. Communication with host and park was a tad lacking. Contacted on May 6th with question, no response. Resent the question May 14th with a response from property owner only. The rest of the correspondence was solicitation for staying longer. Not bad, but not as good as some other hosts. My frustration with the experience stemmed from my question if a parked seadoo was allowed or if the rule only applied to using a seadoo. The response was "no" to both. Which is fine, its their place and its my fault I missed the verbiage in the listing that they were not allowed. However, the first thing I see when pulling in is a parked Seadoo which remained parked the duration I was there. This was frustrating because their decision to not allow the Seadoo prevented the boat from being taken on other legs of my trip, for ultimately no gain to anyone. There was ample parking space and a parked Seadoo produces less noise than a 4 stroke boat. The park and host seemed throughout the stay (with other examples) to only care about their rules, liability and the transaction, not the stay itself or individual. Not particularly an issue, but some hosts are more personable.
This was a great spot for our "layover" in Key Largo on the way from Miami to Key West. Clean, comfortable, and quiet. We didn't have much time to check out the pool and beach there because of other activities. I love staying at rentals that aren't your typical condo resort or hotel, so the campground vibe was cool for us
The location was perfect. The house was clean and had just what we needed. Publix is close by. The pool was clean. We did not use the beach due to croc signs. The check in lady at the gate was amazing!!!!
This was just right for out three day getaway while on vacation with our family. I had never been to Key West and I absolutely loved it. I would definitely recommend to set here.
Nice and cozy property with all the essentials. Very clean and welcoming. I had two issues - one a lack of bedding and pillows for the futon (this left my son a bit uncomfortable), and that the owner didnât communicate to the campground that I was coming, which is not their protocol. Otherwise, great spot and affordable.
My husband and I visited Florida for our honeymoon and wanted a 4 day stay in Key Largo, this was the perfect little home to stay in. Nice AC, cozy environment yet plenty of space for both of us. So much nicer than any hotel room since we got a whole small house. Short drives to all the nice restaurants and attractions in Key Largo. Also, was only about 2 hours from Key West so we spend a day exploring there. House was very clean and the campground was nice and quiet. I would recommend to any couple looking for a nice place to stay!
This rental was just what we needed. Quiet, roomy and a pool! Near all the good restaurants. The owner was a God-send when we accidently left our luggage at the property. She went over and above to help us1
This was a perfect location for our 4 day getaway. The shower is excellent and we were able to launch our kayak across the street. Manatees hang out at the end of the channel and in a few minutes you can be in the Pennekamp kayak trails. The location is close to everything and is secure.
It was perfect , we did have issues with the refrigerator but the owner replaced it rather quickly. The house was nice , the area was nice. We really enjoyed our stay
Property was nice. The beach was on inner costal water that didn't seem safe to enter and no parking. Was a bit of a walk. Property wasn't cleaned when we checked in at 9 pm, someone did come clean, we got to bed about 1am when they left. We were refunded for the night.
First of all, let me begin to thank the owner Catalina, she was very easy to communicate and very details on what to expect when you get there.
I really love this place, the first thing that caught my attention is the cleanliness. The place is very comfortable and spacious, also have an amazing Kitchen. The kitchen has everything need it to cook every day meal. The camp ground is family oriented and people are very nice and polite. I felt safe in this place, they have gated entrance. This camp is located 1 miles south from John Pennekamp state park. and a lot of restaurants closed by. The supermarket Publix, Pizza place, bait shop and other shops within walking distance. We are boaters, so we brought our 18 ft boat. Easy access to the ramp, and the camp has access to the ocean side and gulf side. This place has all the amenities you need for boaters.
A small but nice ramp, dock, fish cleaning station, fresh water wash down, ice machine. Overall we really enjoyed our stay in this place and we recommended this place to any couples who want to enjoy the keys. Hopefully we will come back next year 2022..
