We have been coming to calusa for years. We love the environment and the campground. The trailer was perfect for us. No issue checking in. Everything worked. Absolutely no issues and the owner of the property was very attentive and replied to me almost immediately. Bed was very comfortable, extra blankets were provided. No complaints here. Will be returning
It was a relaxing stay and as described. It did require an additional 10 at check-in to the park, but thatâs not unusual. The camper was as described and clean, and most essentials for a short stay (could have used a roll of paper towels). Comfortable outdoor seating. As a plus it included coffee for morning brewing. The park was near restaurants, shopping, etc., so a good location. The pool was short walk in the park. Gated security monitors access to the park, and the surrounding area appeared safe with walkers and bicycle riders. It was a good stay.
The rv was very clean. The mattresses are both old from the bed to the pull out sofa. They really need to be replaced. I would stay again if the mattresses were replaced. Both sleeping areas were like sleeping on a hard board. I think the ground would feel softer. Otherwise, the patio, kitchen and bath were were very accomodating.
We had a nice time! It was a great place to get to all the different attractions! Camper is a little older, but you can tell the owner takes the time to make it homey for the guests. The little touches are really nice. We would stay there again!!
The location and the campground is great for a vacation. There are a couple draw backs however. Visitors have no access to laundry machines in campground (machines run on cards and they were not available), there was no filled propane containers for outside grilling. The queen bed is an old camper mattress with a 3" uncovered disintegrating foam topper which was hot, it sits on top of a plywood storage platform with hinges that run right across where your hips hit. Linen was old and the pillows have seen better days, they were totally flat. Owner needs to invest a little money in the bed situation to make this a perfect vrbo stay. It was impeccably clean and an inexpensive place to stay.
Our experience here was amazing. The host is great. The communication was prompt and helpful. The accommodation is so comfortable we didnât want to leave. The special touches in the home makes you feel like you are staying at a home and not a generic hotel. The home was also very clean. It had everything a person could need for a stay. The outside covered porch was what completely sold us on this place. We cannot wait to come back next year!
My wife and I stayed for 2 nights. The camper and patio space were clean. The patio was very nice and accommodating just the way the pictures show! The bar refrigerator was already cold and ready for our drinks when we checked in. The campground over all is very nice and well maintained, with the pool being a nice quiet area to soak up some southern sun and play a game of cards. The only complaints that we had about the property, they had plug-in air fresheners in the camper ( if this is a problem for you, you understand ). Also most of the dishes and kitchen items werenât very clean. I believe that they are relying on the renters to clean these items or if not the cleaning people are failing in this area. Over all this was a great stay, but for the money it would be nice if these 2 items were taken care of. We would definitely visit again!
