Loved the house, pool and all the comfy seating inside and on the pool deck. Spacious home and fully equipped kitchen was appreciated. Enjoyed great walks, beach time and many restaurants within easy walking distance. Barely used our rental car other than airport transportation. Highly recommend this home.

House is beautiful and perfect location in a quiet neighborhood (planes do fly over but that is now the new “normal” in KW unfortunately). Home is fully stocked with pans, foil, mixing bowls, storage bags,containers, detergent for washing machine and dishwasher. Juicing machine for fresh juice was a bonus making cocktails on point! Walk or bike to beaches and restaurants was easy. Kevin, the host, was lovely as he stopped by to unlock the piano for us to play. His home is a very special place.

Phenomenal property, probably the best around in the heart of key west. Beautifully decorated and in an intimately private setting. Everything one could need or want was provided, and in excellent condition. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Prefect little spot, tucked into the middle of Key West. Easily get to anywhere you need. Very well kept. Very well stocked. All very clean.Pool area is a tropical garden, very well tended to. We loved it. The music room was a perfect gathering place. No reason to stay anywhere else on a return visit.

Great house and pool

Nice clean property and location close to many places to eat and a small market right around the corner. Well stocked with everything you might need especially in the kitchen. Beds were sooooo comfortable. They took care of the couple of issues that came up immediately. Ages from 3-64 and we all enjoyed ourselves immensely!!

True Tranquility in the Middle of Key West

We were two families sharing the property and it was amazing. There is plenty of room for both privacy and the sharing of common spaces. The home and all of the amenities were super clean, new, and beautifully decorated. The house manager Kevin, as well as the VHKW property managers, are super helpful and responsive. We loved the Key West architecture and plan to stay here again on our next visit.

Family Vacation

This is our 2nd time staying at this property. The first time was when our family (parents plus kids & spouses) did not have little ones yet. For our most recent stay we had 3 young grandkids in tow. Both visits have been amazing! We are from Tennessee and fly into Key West. After an uber to the house, we don’t get in the car again until we go back to the airport. The house is centrally located so you can walk the entire island. The house is set up perfect for morning breakfasts with the entire family. There are plenty of spots in the pool and outdoor area for everyone to hang out together whether you like the sun or the shade. We can’t wait to visit again! The home provides a wonderful escape from day to day life in the beautiful Key West.

lovely and central to everywhere

We had five days with our adult children and couldn't have found a more relaxing place to stay. The listing is accurate and we were not disappointed in any way. We could get to all sides of the key within a 5 minute bike ride or 10-15 minute walk. The open air kitchen was well stocked with dishes and the basic necessities and the heated pool was inviting, so even spending a full day on the property was a perfect thing. Five stars for sure!

Repeat and 50!

My husband stayed at this property almost 15 years ago, and this is the only place he wanted to return to for his 50th! The house was just as he remembered with a welcoming kitchen which opens to an outdoor patio leading to the pool. The large, round patio table was the perfect meeting spot for all our guests from morning coffee to late night card games. And the pool lined with beautiful tropical landscaping offered both cool shade covered spots, warm sun-soaked areas and a peaceful waterfall. Additionally, the property management company generously left a birthday card with a beautiful bottle of Prosecco to kick off hubby’s birthday celebrations. An excellent personal touch! Overall, we were extremely impressed with the cleanliness of the house, the eclectic decor, the stocked kitchen with every available cooking amenity, and the easy checkout directions. This property knows how to host guests to ensure they enjoy their time in Key West! Thank you for a great stay!! See you in another 15 years!

Key West getaway

The property was perfect for our blended family. Our 5, 20 something’s had plenty of things to do at the home and was easy to get around by golf cart. We loved the separate casita. There wasn’t an amenity missing, so much for cooking in. We so loved and used the pool multiple times a day. The outdoor patio seating area was our main gathering spot for the week. Highly recommend this cute cottage-like home.

Just perfect!

This was our first visit to Key West and we were a family of 8 adults. The host was there to greet us when we arrived coincidentally and was super nice. The house was just perfect for us. Plenty of room for everyone to have space but we could easily all be together in the family room, kitchen or outside patio. The pool was our perfect hangout spot and even offered some shade most of the day. We really enjoyed everything about the stay. The location is also perfect to walk to just about everything we wanted. Highly recommend!! We will definitely come back and stay here again.

Family Milestones Celebration

We were celebrating a 50th wedding anniversary, two 70th birthdays, a 40th birthday and a 50th birthday. This house couldn’t be a better place for it. The pool/ dining area was where we hung out the most. Close to all of the attractions so we could walk everywhere. The artwork in the house was amazing. We had one little glitch when the water went out one morning but Kevin was on it right away to get it fixed. We would definitely come back to stay at Tropical Tranquility again.
