Bring your blacklight.. cleaning company cuts corners
Requested early check in-- which was denied. Property management company said that the crew was still there. When we did check in at 4:30 the unit had not been deep cleaned. There was stickiness on the table, the oven had food splattered on the outside, the showers were not scrubbed- with dirty footprints in it. The inspector came to the unit and agreed it needed to be deep cleaned, and apologized saying that it was cleaned THE NIGHT BEFORE and that things had been missed. An early check in would have been nice, but a clean unit at 4:30 would have been even better. My son and I both got sick on the 2nd day. I would be prepared to deep clean things yourself and bring supplies if you decide to stay here
Beautifully located property with sunny lounge and plenty of space to relax in. Free shuttle to ski slopes, ample equipment in kitchen for a self contained stay. As with any Condo Complex there is some noise from neighbors.
This 1st floor condo was an excellent choice for my friends and I during our time in Keystone. Although we did not ski at Keystone resort proper, we were a short walk away from the shuttle, which took us right to Arapahoe basin. The Condo was cozy, clean and complete with everything we could possibly need. My favorite part was utilizing the wonderful sauna and hot tub at the pool house only a few hundred feet away from our door. Would certainly book again if I was staying with a large group!
Unlike many vacation listings, The Pines was actually pretty much just as shown in the pictures. It more than met our needs for a small ski group. Communication with the host was easy, check in process was smooth, and the space was clean. The furniture and kitchen utensils/appliances could use some updates (couches were old, and the pots and pans weren't in great shape). The kitchen was also not well stocked, compared to other rentals I've stayed in. But all in all, not bad for the price.
We enjoyed our stay. The view from the living room looking out to the mountains is beautiful. The beds were comfortable, kitchen is well equipped and having in unit washer and driver was a plus. We did run out of gas for grilling. We called management to exchange tanks since the place did not have tools in them to unscrew the tank and never heard from them. Overall, we would stay here again.
This condo was great for our family of three adults and two small children. Keystone and the surrounding area have a shuttle services that came in very handy when our vehicle broke down the first day that we were there, so we werenât stuck at the condo.
Condo has a nice living area that our family well and would have fit several more if necessary. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was well supplied.
A few small things need or needed some attention, but did not detract significantly from our visit or would prevent us from staying again.
1. Condo is billed as not allowing pets, but there was a large amount of pet hair on the furniture. Iâm guessing the owners of the condo have a dog. We reached out to the management company on this and they responded right away and offered to come clean the place for us, but we ended up running the vacuum over everything ourselves. We noticed there was already a large amount of hair in the vacuum.
2. The blinds in both bedrooms need some attention or replaced. They are a bit difficult to lower and/or shut.
3. The hot faucet in the guest bathroom sink needs some attention since it have a stop to it when shutting it off. You just need to be careful to not turn it too far or it will actually turn back on.
4. I could only get 2 burners on the grill to work. Could see that some of the heat deflectors are rusted and need replaced.
5. The DVD player did not work and would not recognize a disc.
We stayed here for a week as a family vacation, and loved every moment of it. The condo was spacious and well-appointed. Easy to get in and out of and located in a spot with both a fantastic view of the countryside and a short drive to shopping and activities. The heated indoor pool was spacious and offered a nice view, and the extra-large hot tubs always had enough room to sit & soak.
The beds were comfy, the appliances were new & nice, even the fireplace was a cozy addition on a rainy day.
We never could get the DVD player working. Other than that, it was as good an experience as we've had for a vacation rental. I'd 100% recommend this condo, and if we vacation in the mountains again, we'll be looking to grab this place.
This place was very nice. The check-in went smoothly everything was as they said it would be. They had many extra things available such as humidifiers, sleds, cooler, crockpot. Itâs a great location with a beautiful view of the mountains. The kids and I really enjoyed the hot tub in the sauna after a long day of skiing. I would recommend to a friend and would stay again. Thank you!
Comfortable beds, spacious, well equipped. Short walk to ski shuttle less than 1 minute. 5 min bus ride to skier drop off. Hot tub gets crowded but it was spring break. Pool, sauna, and hot tub amenities were nice. Would stay here again 100%
It was our first time in Keystone and this location was perfect! Had a free shuttle, the place was clean and every relaxing amenities. I would go back!
