We've stayed at two other units at the Royal Mauian and this one was the nicest in terms of appearance and furnishings! The location in the bldg provides a great sunset view and of Kama'ole I beach. The beach chairs and umbrella are quality Tommy Bahama pieces. There were a few items that were missing or needed improvement, but the mgmt co. took care of those within a day of our mentioning them! The one item that is lacking is that the dryer function of the washer/dryer combo unit is either broken or disabled, and you have to hang dry any laundry you want to do. The pre-loaded laundry detergent mentioned in an earlier review is not a problem as we emptied the tank and put in a non-fragrance/dye detergent that the mgmt co. supplied upon our request (due to allergies). We were worried about elevator noise as the #9 units share a wall with the elevator shaft, but it's not noticeable at all. Overall, the unit and location are really nice, and the mgmt co. is very responsive and accommodating.

We had a wonderful time here! The condo is beautiful with an amazing ocean view that you could only get at a premium at most hotels. It came fully stocked with beach towel, high quality beach chairs and an umbrella. The unit was very quiet and everyone staying at the complex was very kind and respectful. The bed was very comfortable and we loved being able to walk to the beach and restaurants/food trucks nearby. Perfectly located and convenient to get to the airport and other parts of Maui. Highly recommend! The host was very accommodating and communicative. We truly had the best vacation here!

The unit was perfectly placed on the shore! Very clean and management was very quick when I had questions. We would recommend this unit for anyone.Just a couple of suggestions: Maybe not use scented detergent in the washer/dryer. Many people (us included) are scent-sensitive and have skin issues that can't tolerate scents. Since the washer was already loaded with detergent, we couldn't add our own unscented detergent. Also, you have done such a nice job of rehab on the unit, it would have been nice to have matching silverware and enough of it to last more than 2 days. We ended up having to wash most so we could have to eat withGreat stay otherwise!

This unit was advertised with a washer and dryer. There was a combo unit that may have had a working dryer, however the dryer did not work and could not be fixed! The owner has a sign on the unit stating that there was a foldable wire drying rack to use. Not acceptable for the money paid! This is false advertising and I made the management company aware. They did compensate some. Also the bedroom windows were disgustingly filthy and you could not see the beach We have stayed in the building several times and love the other units and location.

Our family of 3 (2 adults, 1 infant) loved this rental! Everything was clean and comfortable, and the location could not be beat right between two great beaches. Perfect for a family friendly trip with plenty of restaurants, grocery, coffee shops, food trucks within walking distance. Also a decent snorkel spot, my husband saw a turtle one morning!

Absolutely stunning balcony views, from sunrise to sunset. This is about as close you can get to ocean without being in the ocean. Loved hearing the waves lapping at night.Apartment is equipped with chairs and towels for a great beach day. You can literally walk from door step into the ocean and snorkel with turtles and tropical fish. Be sure to hit the water early for snorkelling or surfing, the trade winds whip up by noon. The building parking lot was ample and easy to find a space each night, very handy. Kitchen was suitably equipped for a short stay. But be sure to check drawers/cupboards for supplies before going out and cooking any large or elaborate meals.Location is fantastic in between Kihei and Wailea. Walking distance to shops and food trucks and The Cove. Very quiet at night.Would happily stay here again!

We had a wonderful day at the property. The apartment is spacious and well equipped with all the necessities. This views are stunning. Overall, the apartment is located in in a complex that is very well maintained and has also lots to offer. We really liked the bedroom with ocean view it’s the most common feeling to hear the waves during the night overall, we highly recommend this location.

My husband and I stayed 10 days ay Royal Mauian 309, and absolutely loved our stay.We encountered an issue with the tv when we first arrived and reached out to management. They were great responding quickly and resolving to our satisfaction.I have noted with mngt that it would be helpful to guests to add a couple items to kitchen, such as a can opener, but we were very pleased with everything.We would definately chose this location and condo again.

Awesome Condo in Kihei

Lovely oceanfront condo! Very clean and kitchen well appointed. Made good use of the beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler on Kamaole I Beach, which was just a couple minute walk from the condo. Saw plenty of sea turtles and many whales spotted right from the comfort of the lanai. Condo location was convenient for the activities we planned.

Perfect location!

We’ve been coming to Maui for many years, but this was our first stay at the Royal Mauian. It turned out to be the best yet! This unit had everything we needed
especially the ocean breezes (didn’t even use the A/C!) & the sound of the waves lulling us to sleep. Definitely a winner!

2nd time staying at this property. We love the location and unit. Some items are getting tired and worn vs our last stay, we had to get a replacement coffee maker as the original unit was not working, property manager todd was on it right away and delivered a new unit within hours, thank you. Overall a great condo.
