I was looking for a bit of an upscale stay when booking a property as my family and I visit Maui a few times a year. I was impressed at how well equipped & furnished this unit is and loved having a shaded Lanai we could dine on for breakfast each morning... truth be told, it was the only area that needed some cleaning during our check-in but I would attribute that to the length of time between the previous guests and ourselves without anyone checking in on the property.
My feedback would be two fold: The bedroom shades aren't dark enough to block the morning light and with our jet lag, sleeping in a couple of mornings without the bright morning sun pouring in would have been nice and the air conditioners in both the bedroom and living room worked intermittently. I've notified the property owner of this, and based on how responsive they've been, I'm sure this will be addressed immediately.
The pools were great as one is only 20' feet from the front lanai but one was listed as being heated (one of the reasons we booked here for our infant daughter) yet it certainly didn't feel like it. It's a minor niggle.
Overall, this property is well furnished with luxury touches, is quiet, easily accessible, and is only a 7 minute walk to Kam 3 beach. It's a decent value for the money so if you're looking for a solid stay, consider this one.
We had no internet when we arrived. The following day I contacted VACASA . They sent some out immediately but the internet was never fixed in are 16 day stay.
The building has extremely poor sound proofing. Luckily the suite on top of use was usually vacant but when some one there the sound travels as if they were in the same suite. The property and garden are inicely kept.
We had a good stay. Chairs and towels for beach available. Kitchen well stocked with everything ( except food of course). King size bed comfortable but mattress very hard. Overall clean but need to do some cleaning as we arrived. Renters should keep in mind that itâs a bottom level condo and bugs do come in. Would be nice is big repellant was available especially that we were here for a longer stay. Overall happy with stay
The location is a block from the ocean where you get fabulous sunsets. We used the Brita filter, the coffee maker, the blender. Having two baths is a plus. The lanai has been my happy place for two weeks and there's two. The north facing lanai picks up a bit of ocean and a nice afternoon breeze. I spent a fair amount of time there, writing and listening to birds. There's another at the other end of the condo with plenty of room to dry clothes. There's A/C at both ends of the condo. It works but it's loud. The owner has decorated the unit with tasteful furniture, a comfy KING size bed, which was great for us. Also, there's hand-made quilts adorning the walls and they make the place beautiful. Great tile floors and lanai. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. We saw sea turtles right across the street at the Kihei boat harbor.
We also connected with the Wailea Healing Center for massage, yoga and acupuncture. There's yoga on the beach just south of the harbor. Aloha.
This condo is very clean and nicely decorated- loved the beautiful quilted art. Comfortable bed. The grounds are well kept, and individual unit privacy and proximity to nice, quiet, and clean pool were notable. Sunset views from the property, easy short walk to the beach, good location for nearby Wailea and Makena. We appreciated and used the available beach chairs, umbrella, and towels. Thanks for a delightful stay. We would choose Maui Kamaole again.
Loved this condo. Very nice. Everything you could possibly want was there. Super comfortable. The only negative, and it was minor, was the annoyingly loud AC units.
It was as was expected. The place is hidden away in the back so hadnât much of a view but the grounds are nice. It was extremely clean which we appreciated.
