Nice house

Kept a family of 4 comfortable. The drive to local beaches is 5 minutes or less. Very clean house. Well equipped kitchen with plenty of silverware and utensils. They have 4 folding beach chairs, and coolers to use on the beaches. Also an outdoor shower to rinse off sand. Washer and dryer. TVs in main room and all bedrooms including lower level lounge area off of the garage. Good WiFi signal throughout. Neighborhood was clean and quiet. You could walk to the beach but have to cross a main road, so preferred to drive and park: there are plenty of public beach access points to park. Highly recommend.

we wish we could stay 'All Summer Long'

Felt so welcome from the very beginning! I messaged the host to make sure it would be okay to bring our dog and her immediate response was "she would love to have 'Josie' and I" This was our first time bringing our dog on a vacation and we LOVED having her with us. The neighborhood was great, very quiet. The place was clean, loved the decor, plenty of space for our group of 2 adults and 4 teens. Host provided beach towels, chairs, 2 bikes and even stopped by to drop off a tire pump. My son loved the extra space downstairs with his own tv and fridge. Thanks for a wonderful stay, would definitely stay again!

Fantastic Beach House

We stayed at this house last year for our annual girls' trip and loved it so much, we decided to stay here again! We love the location and neighborhood. They have upgraded the lower-level bonus room with AC and heating which was fabulous! You can easily get to several restaurants and shopping places without going out to main highway - about 1 minute drive from house! Everything was ready for us upon arrival - super clean. Love that they soap and shampoo in showers. They provide 4 beach chairs which was fantastic - along with beach towels. This was great for cutting down on packing. They also had the cutest Thank You Note along with a gift of awesome smelling lotion with their house name on it that we thought was a cute surprise. We will definitely stay here again!

This property is very comfortable. The amenities are great. The kitchen is very well stocked and ithe cottage is decorated lovely. It was clean and spotless. The area is very quiet and shaded. Beach access is a short distance away and easy to get to quickly. We will definitely go to this home again.

A great stay and we will definitely be back!

My group of girlfriends checked out of this fantastic property this morning but we could have stayed MUCH longer! We enjoyed this super clean house which is situated in a quiet neighborhood, close to shopping and restaurants. The kitchen was well-equipped and there was a second refrigerator on the lower level which is a nice feature. The beds are comfy and it’s helpful to have linens and towels provided-also beach towels! There are 4 beach chairs available which helped slim down our packing. There are multiple beach accesses nearby and the neighborhood is perfect for walks or bike riding. You will not regret staying at this home away from home!

Excellent place to stay in Outerbanks

An amazing place to stay for a family of five. We stayed for three nights from Friday evening to Sunday evening. The host promptly responds to my emails, and graciously advised that house was ready early and were able to check-in ealier. Such a lovely house with high ceilings and very clean. The living room was very comfortable to watch our favorite shows. Breakfast at the dining room was very spacious. Thanks for the fully equipped kitchen as we prep breakfast. And we had a good sleep in the cozy bedrooms. The outdoor shower was great for washing sand off. We highly recommend this lovely and beaufiful house and will definitely come back. We recommend Miller's Waterfront Restaurant for a family dinner and sunset viewing; and the Beachcombers Tiki fronting the beach and watching the waves.

All summer long

Gosh, this home was really home away from home. We felt like we forgot so many supplies that were already there!! My mom, who cleans for a living and has high expectations, was impressed with how clean and organized the home was! We could not have been happier! Great place to stay!!

My family stayed here the week of July 4th and had a great vacation. The house was beautifully decorated and spacious enough for my family of 5. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and the beds were super comfortable. We enjoyed how quiet the neighborhood was and how close it was to all fun things the Outer Banks has to offer. I would highly recommend this rental and look forward to staying here again.

Stayed overnight on our way down to Ocracoke. House was extremely clean and recently updated. We were very impressed with all the attention to details including beach towels, beach chairs, and blankets provided for lounging and watching tv. Owner very responsive. House is very nice, beds are comfortable, plenty of kitchen utensils, dishes, etc. There were beach chairs and towels and a grill. The downstairs room is nice but could use a window a/c, can get rather warm in the summer. Loved having a second fridge and outdoor shower too! Overall it was very nice! Would stay here again!

Wonderful OBX VRBO Location

This was our first stay in the OBX and we chose this property based upon the on-line description and we were not disappointed! The home is fully updated and extremely well appointed and well kept. The property consists of a two story OBX on-stilts house, however, this home has a slightly built out side room adjacent to the garage which contains a second refrigerator, couch, chairs, coffee table, carpet and television. A very nice touch by the home owners. It was a little too warm 80-90 for us to use that room, however, during. More temperate weather, I’m sure someone would find the room a delightful option. The second story contains 3 bedrooms with a master suite with adjoining bathroom, a second bedroom that was well appointed and a 3rd bedroom containing a bunk bed which out kids went for and enjoyed during our stay. There is another bathroom in the hallway. The beds were extremely comfortable and the sheets fresh and clean. The kitchen was extremely well appointed and provided every type of pot and pan necessary for us to cook. The kitchen cabinets and applicants appeared relatively new and were in great condition. The dining and living areas are also well appointed consisting a family style bench dining area which everyone loved, and the living area consisted of a couch and two recliners which were heavily used by my family. There was a very large TV in the living area. The only negative experience during our stay was the WiFi which kept going in/out.
