Graduation weekend

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your lovely cabin! It was a perfect location for our family to get to and from UT for graduation festivities. The cabin has a lot to offer from the hot tub, the pool table, and the games which our family all enjoyed using. The cabin is surrounded by a very peaceful environment and we loved sitting on the porch. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out. I would highly recommend this property if you are looking to stay close to the university and the airport.

Wonderful 16 Acre Paradise!

My family enjoyed our stay during the Christmas holiday. Brandi and Kevin are excellent hosts with great attention to details that make your stay special. We were delighted to arrive and find the cabin beautifully decorated for Christmas with a container of homemade fudge and card from the hosts. The cabin was well stocked and had everything we could possibly need during our stay. The property and grounds are amazing. We enjoyed the fishing pond and walks around the property. The cabin and property have many amenities and activities for a fun filled and enjoyable vacation.

Beautiful cabin retreat

We had an amazing stay in the Big Joe! The hosts were wonderful and the cabin was immaculate! We will definitely return for years to come. Beautiful setting for a family vacation. Loved relaxing on the porch and in the hot tub.

Gem of a cabin

Beautiful cabin in a convenient location close to airport and downtown. Only 51 min to Dollywood. Very clean and comfortable! 3 BRs with queens and a king and each with its own full bath. The pool table and gameroom were perfect for us and we brought our own dice games and cards. The dining table fit all 6 us comfortably without the leaf. Would stay here again! Thanks!

Easter with Family

We met in the middle of Southern Illinois and North Carolina. We will definitely be coming back. If you are looking for a get away from the hustle and bustle of life this is your place. The home is fully stocked with everything you need for cooking and fun outdoor activities. We enjoyed walking the trails and watching the kids play outside. The host is quick to respond and answered all of our questions. I would highly recommend staying at Big Hoss.

Amazing in every way!

Simply a wonderful place to stay. Very secluded and secure property but close to all city activities. Property owners are great! Easy check in and check out. We were just looking for a place to sleep while we came to Knoxville to visit our new grandbaby, but we actually found our new destination for the many future family visits to come! Brandi and Kevin and family have really put together a wonderful property for their guests to enjoy. They obviously put alot of thought into it as just about everything you would need is provided! From quality toiletries to indoor and outdoor entertainment, like pool tables, video games, horse shoes and cornhole just to name a few. Really, you won't even need to leave the cabin! Amazing Tennessee Thanksgiving

Drove from NJ to spend Thanksgiving with our UTK Junior and our son from Charleston. The Cabin and property was gorgeous and relaxing. Kitchen was great for cooking our Thanksgiving dinner. We had a great day watching the Vols beat Vanderbilt at Neyland Stadium on Saturday! Would love to rent multiple cabins at the Ponderosa with family and friends soon!

Great Place for a Girls Weekend

Beautiful cabin and property! The beds are super comfy, and we really enjoyed the fire pit for making smores and hanging out. The gated property made us feel very safe. Perfect place that feels like you're out in the country, but it's very close to downtown Knoxville.

Better than Expected and We expected A Lot!!

A truly incredible experience! Great communication the entire time and very personal as well. We need to make some changes and the owner was very accommodating. As far as the property, it exceeded expectations. The Ponderosa is a 16 acre serene wooded property with a few well appointed log cabins, a small pond absolutely filled with fish, nature trails, and lots of other activities (tetherball, cornhole, horseshoes, hammocks, fire pits, etc.). It is close to down town Knoxville but you truly feel like you are way out in the country. We stayed in the Big Hoss cabin and it was perfect! EXTREMELY comfortable beds! Fantastic game room! Hot tub on a wrap around deck with swings and lots of sitting. Too much to list! Gas grill came in handy and we even cooked on the fire pit! Lots of fun! My son caught seven bass in two days and these were pretty good size. SOOOOO RELAXING! Thanks so much for a beautiful stay!
