Oconee Oasis was a perfect stay for our needs. The spaces were clean, the kitchen just large enough for our use, and the common areas were just the right size and comfort level. Our main âcomplaintâ was we wanted to see the sweet pup that lives upstairs more! :) We heard very little noise above from the main residents/property managers, and we were grateful to get a pet or two on their pup. Thank you for the space and for making our stay so nice!
Clean and well decorated apartment facing a pretty yard. The location was close to everything in Knoxville, which was a huge plus for us.
The streets in the neighborhood are not lit and full of turns so make sure to use GPS at night.
The only downside was the seating room furniture is uncomfortable and the beds have no box spring so it's not the most comfortable sleep.
This is my first experience in AB&B. If Oconee Oasis is an example of what I can expect, then the hassle of staying in a hotel again is a thing of the past!
From the moment my son and I entered, it seemed so inviting and welcoming. but my highest praise is reserved for CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN! Everything was CLEAN! EVERYTHING! And the attention to detail was over the top, as well. All the amenities were of a high quality, and we wanted for nothing. There was even books, puzzles and cards available for entertainment. The bed was soft and comfortable and if you were cold there was 2 fluffy duvets in the big walk-in closet. It was so blessedly quiet but if you still couldn't sleep, there was a relaxing sounds machine to lull you to sleep. The kitchen area was compact and had everything you would need to cook a simple meal.
The bathroom -- CLEAN! The commode and shower were spotless!
The entire experience was easy and very enjoyable. From the initial booking process to the communications with the Property Manager, Mr. Wicks, who was always helpful and available to answer questions. The only problem we had was the furnace was set on 55 and there was no way to turn it up. I am partially disabled so would have appreciated some grab bars in the shower, but other than that - thank you one and all for making our time spent in Knoxville so enjoyable.
Stayed due to a volleyball tournament at the Knoxville Convention Center. Maybe a 10-15 minute drive to the KCC. Prob could have been less but there was construction in the area. Place was nicely decorated and very clean. Priced right for the accommodation. Itâs a little apartment in a basement. The owners are super sweet! Very receptive to needs or requests. Good communication. I will say we werenât in the room much but I would definitely recommend. It was a clean, safe place at an affordable price.
We enjoyed a three night stay while visiting our son at UT. The location was quiet and out of the way, yet convenient to the university. We were able to get pizza delivery the first night and had several local eatery options during our stay. We would stay here again.
Property was in a quiet neighborhood outside Knoxville, but just a short drive to the city! There was plenty of space, and it was very clean and well-kept. Stephen was very responsive, and a great host! Thanks for a lovely stay!
Our family stopped here with two teenage as part of a longer road trip. The accommodations were affordable and in fantastic proximity to Baker Creek Preserve for mountain biking. We also enjoyed the walking trails at Ijams Nature Center.
Perfect, quiet and beautiful location, minutes away from Knoxville center. Hosts were very welcoming and accommodating, very responsive to requests, and enjoyable conversations. When returning to Knoxville, I will definitely stay here again.
My husband and I needed a place to stay for a short trip to watch baseball. The Oconee Oasis was just right. We had all we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was very responsive.
Such a beautiful setting and spacious with everything we needed. We had to cut our stay here short because of an emergency, but would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Knoxville.
