First and foremost, THE VIEW! Breathtaking scenes of Mt. Fuji and the surrounding lake and mountains are worth staying here. Second, the room was ample, comfortable, and nicely equipped. Great value, especially when compared to hotels in larger cities of Japan. The onsen and grounds are nice and the staff are courteous, professional and efficient. Less impressive was the dinner and we missed breakfast because last entry is 30 minutes before service ends, so we were no longer able to get a table. Overall, we greatly enjoyed our stay and would likely return. A plus for us is that is was a little off the area overcrowded by tourists and public transportation.

The view was absolutely outstanding. The staff are friendly, from the shuttle driver to the front desk staff to the wait staff - highly recommend including breakfast in your booking. The rooms however are outdated but when you have a hotel onsen and that mountain view, you can't ask for anything else. Walking distance to 7-11 and for a walk around the Lake.

Excellent hotel. Besides the room being so clean and comfortable , the latest check in was at midnight and I called right before and let them know that their was a delay with the flight and train that they allowed me to check in at 12:30am. I am forever grateful for making an exception and will be staying here again. Last but not least, the view of Mount Fuji was incredible. 10/10

The shuttle bus service from the station was fantastic. All their people were very friendly and helpful. We had the best view of Mt. Fuji. The hotel surrounds were beautiful gardens kept immaculately. We would highly recommend this hotel. Lovely spacious rooms too. Shower over bath thouh. Also lake not far to walk. and tourist bus service to the lake areas, etc. And to the kimono museum; must see. The Kawaguchiko station is very crowded with hundreds of tourists but efficient service to get through. Make sure you book your train ticket seat. Train very crowded.
