Overall the Kiahuna Plantation is a great property, the location is on the beach and close to shops. This unit however is in the far back corner, overlooking the Sheraton, #311. The listing should have mentioned this as the pin point will lead you to believe itâs on the other side closer to the beach. Which is definitely is not. The pin point is actually the guest registration. I found this misleading.
The pictures are accurate and when things like the toaster and ice trays needed replacements, these were handled though we never received confirmation of communication/requests nor did anyone ask to enter the condo while we were out for the day which I found odd.
I had to reach out for check in policies and it takes a while to hear back. This may be due to the larger company handling the communication rather than the owner.
The bed is terribly uncomfortable and I hope for future guests itâs replaced. Every spring could be felt and heard. We didnât sleep well.
Overall Iâd stay at the property again but not this unit.
While it canât be expected, it would be great if the unit had an umbrella and chairs to borrow during the stay. You can borrow chairs at the beach hut and rent other equipment.
