8 Days in Paradise

Wonderful location, with great amenities. The grill by the pool was awesome for cooking meals at night. Everything was very clean and in order. The hosts checked into make sure that we had everything we needed, and they provided great recommendations for things to do, places to eat, etc. The boogie boards and beach towels were very nice to have as well.

Wonderful week in Poipu

If you are looking for a place in Poipu this is it. Everything was as described and more. We enjoyed our time on the island and this couldn’t have been a better location. Can walk to both Shipwreck and Poipu Beaches from here which we did but found it easier if taking beach chairs, cooler, etc to drive never had a problem finding parking at beaches. Spent lots of time out on the lanai watching and listening to the waves, did see whales in the distance most mornings. Condo was clean and comfortable loved the beds. Excellent communication with the owner, checked in with us via text every few days just to make sure everything was going fine. Would stay here again

Quiet and Convenient

Exactly as described. Spacious. Few neighbors during our stay so it was quiet. Nearby construction also but it was reasonable. Convenient to shopping, restaurants, beaches, and sightseeing. Nice paths to walk in the area.

Perfect location

This is a great property to stay on, proximity to beaches, beach hike and restaurants can’t be beat. The unit itself was incredibly spacious for our four adult family. Unit was clean, plenty of air flow and fans, beds were comfortable and all appliances were in working condition. We couldn’t have asked for more.

A Nice Spot

The property is pleasant and as advertised. It’s in a beautiful part of the island with peak-of-the-Pacific views. The grounds of the Poipu Sands community are well-maintained. The unit itself is spacious, bright, and well-laid out. The decor is simple but functional. Throughout, the owners were clear and responsive in their communications. Just two small caveats. Although it’s true that the unit is a short (5-7 min) walk to the Hyatt, the hotel has a strictly enforced policy of only admitting guests or day pass-holders ($100 per person) onto the pools and facilities. To that extent, proximity to the Hyatt can’t be said to be a selling point. In addition, it’s important to be very conscientious about cleaning up sand (make time to vacuum all the rugs at least once before leaving!). This is something the owners feel strongly about.

Excellent Condo in Poipu!

I recommend this condo for anyone looking for a place to stay in Poipu! First & foremost, the communication with Jeff & Pamela was superb. I cannot even explain how great they were before & during our stay! They also provided us with suggestions & some of their favorites - which was much appreciated! The lanai is spacious & provides beautiful views of the ocean & shipwreck beach. The location was perfect, easy to get to the two nearby shopping centers that were full of restaurants, shops, & small grocery stores, as well as other nearby restaurants (5-10min drive). It’s a quick 3 min drive to Poipu Beach. A quick walk through the condo’s green belt area takes you to the Hyatt property next door which provides some great choices for meals & some small shopping, as well as leading you to the beach access & hiking/walking trails. The condo was very clean, beds were very comfortable, & you could not hear any neighbors. Great space for a family! We did cook in a couple of times, appliances & cooking tools were in abundance. I’m already missing the fresh air of the condo - you have two accesses to the lanai with screen doors, as well as many windows. They do have multiple fans throughout if you’re more hot natured; we were extremely comfortable the entire time! We did use the pool one day, easy access, clean, comfortable temp, and great location just outside of the condo. We also met wonderful neighbors! Our experience at this condo was excellent and we recommend you stay here!

I can’t say how satisfied we all where / are . The location , the view , how the home was equipped. We cooked in a lot . We went to see the sunrise each morning . Near the Hyatt . The home owner was beyond helpful . The book he put together, the hints , for food and exploring . I can not thank he and his wife enough. We are going again . The Hawaiian Life for a week satisfies the soul . Mahalo

Two wonderful weeks

Since we were staying in Poipu for two weeks, we wanted to make sure the condo was spacious, had good views, close to the beach and convenient to other things we wanted to do and see. This condo had it all! The hosts were very proactive before, during and after our stay. The condo was very well stocked with dishes, pots, pans and even beach chairs and a cooler. We highly recommend it.

Great location, great complex! View off balcony is fantastic. However, property is dated and could use a refresh. Also, unfortunately, the property was not very clean when we arrived. I would say Jeff is very nice and did his best to correct this issue when we were in contact with him so I hope the cleaning service improves in the future.

Spacious 2bd/2ba with Nice Views

Condo has a great spacious layout for two couples. Large comfortable lanai. Nice distant views of Ship Wreak Beach and the ocean. Very convenient access to swimming pool and barbeque grills. Parking was very easy. Good access to Poipu Beach and there are a number of restaurants within 5 miles. Good kitchen supplies. Owners also supplied 4 beach chairs, 2 umbrellas and 2 boogie boards - A real plus. We were there in August and stayed in the "back" bedroom. It had a ceiling fan and a tower fan that did their best to keep the heat moving out of the louvered windows, but it was definitely very warm and humid sleeping. The "front" bedroom had better airflow and a nicer bed and view. The owners were very communicative and checked in by text with us several times.

Loved our stay here. The condo had absolutely everything you could possibly think of and need while on vacation. It truly was a home away from home. Our favorite part was enjoying our meals on the lanai - it was so spacious and comfortable and had the best view!
