We were not made aware that the hotel was undergoing maintenance / refurbishment work . The reception/lobby area very basic. No hotel bar or comfortable lounge area to relax in. The whole building was very dated and tired looking. Only2 of the 4 lifts were in operation so waits were long. The room decor was poor and beds were extremely hard. The housekeeping staff however did a good job every day to make the room feel presentable.

Kimberly hotel

Staffes are nice, have an good greetings. The shops, restaurants and bars are very close by. When we checked in first time, they gave me the floor was under construction. So that the room was very smells, and felt the air very dirty. May be that date was after the big storm goes away. I went to front desk to call for exchange other room. They gave me other floor. This room was little be better to compare to the first one. I felt sick about this hotel smells.

It was super noisy due to interior construction. Same floor and right upper floor. In Sat, daytime until 6pm, i cant sleep even i was taking a rest after weekday work. Also the water pressure of toliet was terrible, and i had to flush 3-4times every time, but it was still not perfect.

Kimberley Hotel needs a lot of repairs. Air-conditioning was not functioning properly. Very uncomfortable on a hot day. Overall stay was unsatisfactory.

The lobby was really dark and depressing. The rooms were not any better. Walking into the room was depressing in that the room was really old and dampy. The bathroom faucets were leaking nonstop and the shower and tub was cracked with mildew. I will not be staying here again but I gave it 2 stars for the location.
