I loved my time at the Royal Garden. The staff were excellent - Even the typhoon didn't disrupt the 5 Star service. My only comment would be for the hotel to change the piano background music that is played on a loop! Parts of the piano recital become quite loud, and it sounds like a cat is running up and down the keyboard! Perhaps some soothing traditional flute music would be better.

No early morning coffee on the club floor

The staff was great and the room was clean. My only complaint is that I upgraded my room to the club floor only to find that the club did not open at 8am any more. In the past I was able to get coffee and a snake at the club in the morning before I left the hotel. This year the club did not open until 10am. That didn't work for me. I was already gone for the day. If you are on a business trip and have paid for the club floor in the past beware that they offer much more limited service than before. In the future I won't pay the extra price for the club floor.

Very clean property. Staff welcoming & lots of them. Pool refreshing after a hot humid day sightseeing. Buffet breakfast good with lots of options. Didn’t dine at any of the other restaurants in the hotel.

We loved our stay at the Royal Garden. A beautiful hotel with a great buffet breakfast. The Tower rooms with a view, are spacious and provide a great view of the city and pool area. The roof top pool is fantastic! Part of our package included the Crown Lounge which I can highly recommend. This provided us with a High Tea in the afternoon and then drinks and yummy nibbles in the early evening. The staff were excellent, especially Lane and Nora, being very attentive to our needs. You can easily walk to the Promenade from here. We highly recommend this hotel

Trimshatsui east is where the prestige hotels located. Royal Gardens was, at one time, a top rated hotel in Hong Kong. The present condition of the hotel is a bit tire. However, the present price is more affordable than it used to be.

5 star service of reception, concierge and housekeeping. 5 star location. 2 star have to pay additional £1000 if want accessible room for wheelchair bound person. Personally I found this distasteful. 2 star facilities to relax in the evening. There is no bar or lounge to go to in the evening to socialise.

Great location for a stay in TST

Great location and service. Some of the fixtures in the bathroom were looking a little tired and there were scuffs on some of the furniture. However the bed was very comfortable and we loved having the filtered tap for drinking water.

This property was in a very convenient location, walkable to the harbor/avenue of stars and easily accessible from subway stations. There are also a lot of restaurant and shopping options that are a few minutes away. The room was cozy and clean.
