Great location. Very clean. Friendly staff. Perfect service. Rich breakfast. I will surely reserve at this hotel for future visit to Krakow.

Great city break

Really good hotel helpful staff.krakow lovely city the square has lots going on. So reasonable to eat and drink here. Will definitely recommend.

Lovely city break

Fantastic hotel in a great location. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Lots to do in this lovely city. Definitely should be on everyone's 'to do' list!

Fab city break hotel

Situated in good location for the centre where its a easy walk to restaurants. The bar area is a little impersonal and really not inviting

Perfect location

We stayed in the Holiday Inn for four nights. It's location could not have been better, five minutes walk from the old market square, plenty of restaurants nearby. Rooms were comfortable and staff efficient and cleanliness was excellent throughout the hotel. Refurbishment was taking place while we were there. While disruption was kept to a minimum there was work going on in the reception area and the general appearance of the foyer was unfinished. The bar was not open and a temporary bar operated in a section of the restaurant. It would have been better had we been advised of the refurbishment before our arrival. We enjoyed our stay we did not eat in the hotel as we were out and about with a huge variety of restaurants to choose from.

Cold & Noisy

We were a party of 3 and were given a double room with a single bed put right next to the double as there was nowhere else for it to go. The room was freezing cold and the heating did not work. We complained and reception sent someone up, who said leave it half an hour and it will get warm. We went out for a couple of hours and the room was still freezing. Again we complained and again they said to leave it to warm up. We ended up staying in the room that night, but not getting much sleep because of the cold, and then getting woken very early by the building work going on in the hotel. We aksed them to move us to another room in the morning - we did get a free breakfast from them, but please note we had to ask for it!

Great location

The Holiday Inn Krakow City Centre is approx a 15 min taxi ride away costing approx 89 zloty. Taxis are metered so no need to haggle. The taxi driver will no doubt point out various buildings of interest along the way adding to the journey. The hotel is in a great location, approx 250m from the main square and approx a 10 min walk to the Jewish quarter. Both areas have an abundance of bars and restaurants all with great atmosphere. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, nothing being too much trouble for them. The room I had on the third floor was huge with also a big bathroom. Both room and bathroom were clean, the room being comfortable heating wise and the bed and bedding clean and comfy. There was a large flat screen tv available and a well stocked mini bar. Complimentary bottles of water replaced daily was a nice gesture. The complientary bathroom products were Dove, so no need to bring your own products for short stays. Wifi was available in the room with a code accessed from the tv. There is building work at the hotel but noise was not an issue in the room I had. Due to the building work on the restaurant, breakfast is being served in a makeshift room just off the bar area. The food selection looked to be a reduced selection and to be honest at 60 zloty, thought this to be too much. Therefore, needless to say, we did not breakfast at the hotel. I have no doubt once the building work is complete and breakfast is once again being served in the restaurant the 60 zloty will be a good price. Overall, a great hotel in a fabulous location. I will certainly be staying here again in the future.
