We had a wonderful stay at The Nest. My family rented the house for Thanksgiving with 16 family members including children, teens, and adults. There was plenty for everyone to do between shuffle board, games, fire pit, comfy lounge areas, porches, and so much space both inside and out. The kids loved the bunk room. There were enough bathrooms and bedrooms that we never felt crowded. Keith was an excellent host and easy to communicate with. He left us nice Thanksgiving plates to use and made sure we had everything we needed. We were able to check in early and everything was smooth and easy. I would highly recommend this beautiful home to anyone wanting a fun, relaxing, getaway. I imagine this space would be so much fun in the summer as well with all the lake activities. But we absolutely loved it in November as well.

Lake Bum's Paradise

Excellent on all levels. The level of attention from booking, to check-in, checking up throughout our stay and check out was top notch! The home is gorgeous and has all the amenities you will need for a great stay. Lots of games for entertaining and our kids loved the new slide added to the dock. Kitchen was well equipped with everything you needed to cook a feast. Extra bonus was complimentary K-Cups This has been our most favorite house we have ever stayed in, the cleanliness made us feel right at home and comfortable. When we visit Norris again, we will definitely be booking The Nest!

We had a great stay at The Nest. Our group of 13 ranging from ages 10 to 51 had plenty of room. This was the 4th house we have rented on Norris, and is the 1st one we all agreed we would definitely stay at again. The owner is very accommodating and quick to respond to any questions or concerns. The no wake zone was wonderful for swimming and hanging out in the water. The WIFI worked great for our phones to stream music to our speaker on the dock. I would highly recommend this property!

Wonderful family vacation

We stayed here 4 nights, everyone in our extended family had a great time! We have kids that ranged from 17 to 9 months. The layout of the house was great, when the younger kids needed to go to bed, the rest of the family could still be up and social without worrying about waking anyone up. The location is perfect! The “no wake zone” in front of the house is awesome. We all spent so much time in the water, the slide was hit and the kayaks were fun to explore in. Kieth was very responsive to all questions we had before and during our trip.

Best place on the lake!

The house was super clean and well appointed. Kitchen had everything we needed from pots, pans to spices. The extra fridge helped keep plenty of beverages cold.2 families (8 total) had plenty of room. We really enjoyed the tabletop shuffleboard, corn hole, dock, slide, and kayaks! The best part was the location on lake - had a wide open view from the dock but deeply situated within a no wake zone. Best of both worlds:)Owner was helpful, responsive and kind. Great stay with New Addition at the Nest!

We had a wonderful long weekend at the Nest! We were the first to stay at the home with the new addition and it was great! Peaceful family vacation

This house was the perfect place for our family vacation. The house is beautiful, very clean and has all of the amenities that you would need. Located directly on the lake with many marinas near by. No steps to the dock! We brought a wagon to load everything up and down the walkway to the dock. The house was safe for little kids. We had 4 kids under 4 and appreciated the door inside to block the steps. They also loved the water table, toys, and picnic table to play with. We are looking forward to the additions coming for future stays!

Great Lake access and deck

My wife and I wanted to find a place on Norris with Great Lake access, quiet, and reasonably priced relative to the other properties on Norris for a small group . This place was perfect. The deck was quiet and surrounded with trees. The private dock with a covered boat slip was the best. The owners did a great job making sure renters’ boats were not damaged by the dock. Boat Fenders are secured to the dock at high touch points. We used Airhead elastic dock lines at the four corners of the boat, and it was perfect. The dock is located deep into a no-wake zone. We had a great time marina hopping with a quiet comfortable place to stay.

Would definitely stay again!!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was very clean, well taken care of, had all the things you would need at your “home away from home”, and the owners were very responsive and checked on us from time to time to see if we needed anything. Loved this property! So clean and just beautiful. Location is outstanding on the no wake cove. Our boat was not bouncing around like other locations and the dock was perfect to float off of. House was beautifully decorated. Walk to the dock was just as described, gentle concrete slope. Kitchen was well stocked and plenty of room in the refrigerator. The cleaning service did an exceptional job with everything looking pristine and like new. Anxious to see the new addition coming in the fall. Adding a slide to the dock will be great for families with children. Enjoyed our stay and ready to book again for 2024!!!!
