Magical place in the hills

This is a truly a magical place. It is close enough to the Arenal touristy area but private and tucked away in nature. You will not only be in clouds but also above the clouds sometimes and hear the rain below!The one thing people might note is that the road to this place is not fully paved. So the access is a bit bumpy. But if you are truly looking for a remote place it comes with the package. The host is super responsive and helpful. If I come back to the Arenal area, this is the only place I will stay.

It was ok

NOT as clean as it should have been. I think the owner and I have different standards of what clean is. Beautiful location but it didn’t have as much privacy for being so far away from everything. We were given the wrong check in instructions and were led to the wrong cabin currently being occupied. Awkward. The views were absolutely beautiful. My wife and I didn’t feel great after the second night and left early. Although I cannot confirm I believe there was mold in the ceiling as I’m very sensitive from previous toxic mold exposure. I’m a builder and noticed the steel roof decently rotted with holes littered through the eaves. Hot water only worked the first night. They did give us a partial refund…
