Excellent stay, location and service

We stayed here because of the location, but would highly recommend this to other family and friends. The rooms were a great size for a family of five, the breakfast was really good and had lots of options. My girls especially love the shower pressure in the showers.

Breakfast buffet was good start to day. Room was extremely dated. Some kitchen supplies for the suite would be helpful, glasses, knives and forks, plates etc.

Very close to beach. Only problem was HVAC unit in room was not rugged enough to warm the room. We had to request a space heater which worked okay. Room 115 needs an upgrade to the HVAC system.

Perfect stay in La Jolla

Major contruction right outside my room at 7:30 a.m.. I should have been warned about this durig check-in or offered a diffenet room by the pool or other area away from the contruction. There was no volume level I could put on the TV to make any dialogue hearable. Worst hotel experience of my life.

Room was clean and spacious comfortable beds. Tv is huge for some reason. Felt like an apartment complex but quieter. Stayed next to the pool and it was very charming. It’s a little outdated but that is what I liked about it. Wish I had been able to stay longer!

Great!!

Amazing property! It’s a little oddly built, but I understand due to space constraints. I loved the room and the property. Great pool AND jacuzzi. We stayed in a regular room. The bathroom is a little cozy, but it works for the 1-night that we stayed. I also loved the included breakfast. They have a pancake making machine!! And eggs, bacon, all the cold stuff- cereal, fruit, yogurt. Delicious start to a wonderful day. Also pro tip, the Chinese restaurant across the parking lot is delish- had a great dinner there and walked back :)

The rooms were beautiful, clean and quite spacious compared to other hotel rooms. Liked that they had two shower heads, one that could be lowered to shower kids. We were on second floor and there was some road noise but I didn’t find it bad at all. The breakfast was good, there were lots of options. The downside was that the pool was freezing cold. It says it’s heated but it sure wasn’t anywhere near as warm as the other holiday inn we stayed at the night prior. The hot tub was wonderful but tiny, luckily we were the only ones there. Overall a good stay, and I’d stay here again.
