We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the property. Great Firepit conversation area while others enjoying the entertainment room nearby. Loved the outside deck area and all the rooms our spacious and the living area is terrific for a large gathering. Be prepared for the driveway thrill ride, it’s a pretty steep drop down to the house but worth the thrill.

Nice place and neighborhood. Previous guest had left old food we had to throw out. The kitchen faucet was loose and should had been repaired before our stay. I swept the floors, put dirty linens and towels in laundry room and made sure house was in order on departure.Our family enjoyed our stay and would book again.David was helpful and communicated accordingly.

Wonderful experience and a wonderful stay

The home was spacious and amazing. My guest and I really enjoyed ourselves around the fire pit and down at the lake. The host is amazing and very accommodating. The sour in the master bedroom is to die for. The Xbox has plenty of games for the kids plenty of board games and games to set up outside as well. The home was very thoughtful and I will book again in the future. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

Great memorial day at the lake with the family

We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this property. Even though it rained several days, we were still able to take our boat out in between showers.My family (wife and 3 teenage sons) spent the week of Memorial day here and had a blast. We brought our boat and launched it at Pyne Road Park, which is the nearest boat ramp to the house. We kept the boat tied off to the dock overnight which make it super easy to out in the evenings for a sunset cruise. Be sure to check water levels in the lake. When we stayed the lake was at full pool and the dock was easily accessible. During the winter, the corp of engineers do allow the lake to go down a few feet which might make the dock inaccessible.

Lovely Getaway

We had a lovely long weekend here on the lake. The location was perfect - in a quite neighborhood set in the trees with direct access to the lake, yet only 10/15 minutes away from downtown LaGrange. The arrangement of the rooms allowed for privacy for all who were there, ample communal space including a downstairs with excellent soundproofing to prevent disturbing those on the upper two floors. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, and the dining room was a great size for communal dining and playing games. The fire pit was convenient and the areas around it was clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing weekend at the lake!

Simply OUTSTANDING Lake Weekend

We used to rent the cabins over at Highland Marina each year for my wife's birthday. They no longer allow pets, so we had to change our annual lake retreat and found this place. Blows the 3 bedroom "chalet" over at Highland out of the water :) This house is gorgeous and big, so we have rooms for us, her parents, her friends and our kids all in the same place AND Charlie the dog can stay, walk around outside and jump in the lake. The hosts really thought of everything here, food, games etc. While the lake is the main attraction, it rained for a day and we took advantage of their karaoke machine, played the board game of Life, and other things indoors because the house is so big even a rain day didn't stop the enjoyment. On the good days, we grilled out on their deck, had a campfire going in a nice fire pit, took the kayaks on the lake, and had the option to use air conditioning or open windows on 3 levels so everyone got to sleep in their ideal temperatures thanks to the bi-level HVAC. Only downside: splinters. The floors are wood so you can't walk barefoot without catching a splinter or two, but that's to be expected. Several bathrooms with great lighting provided a place to grab a tweezers and fix that little problem. Finally, be aware this is on the side of a hill and it is a pretty steep driveway and a descent walk to the lake so get some cardio in before you go there :) We WILL be staying again.

Beautiful house

We were so impressed by this house. You never know what you're walking into and we were pleasantly surprised at how huge this house was. There was plenty of room for eveyone who stayed and so much extra room to enjoy. My son loved walking down to the lake everyday and being outside. We felt safe in this neighborhood and the host made everything so easy. He always replied right away and helped with whatever we needed. Top recommendations for this house!!!!

High School Fishing Tournament

This is a beautiful home with plenty of space for a large group. It is very clean and well stocked for all of your needs. David (the host) is very hospitable and wonderful to work with to make this an amazing trip. I would like to share that the driveway is a steep drive down to the house and then back to the road. If you are bringing a boat, you are allowed to park in the cul-de-sac. David was wonderful and helped us with this accommodation. We loved staying here and look forward to staying again.

Perfection

Family trip to visit son who goes to college at Lagrange. Perfect location, just be prepared if dark upon arrival driveway is very steep going down but do able in any vehicle. No problem checking in, has garage. Really nice to have decent toilet paper, hand soap and shampoo etc in bathrooms. Amazingly stocked kitchen. Gift package to include a bottle of wine. Comfortable beds could go on and on. Great rental. Highly recommended and sure hope it is open for our trip down next year. David property manager was so quick to answer and always helpful
