From the guards to the dining room to housekeeping, the staff was excellent. However, upon entering the hallway of my 1st floor room, there was a strong scent of mold (perhaps due to the rain the night before).My room was stuffy and smelled of mildew. This persisted thruout my stay. Staff did their best to camouflage the aroma daily but it was difficult. The bathrooms are not private. A thin curtain is the only thing separating u and the other guests in the room when u
do your business, all will be heard and smelled. I stayed for 14 days, and as my stay was coming to an end. I was asked by housekeeping and the concierge on 3 ocassions, when would i be leaving. As I was checking out, the clerk made a comment that "finally" I was leaving. It took me aback since i prepaid my bill in full before arriving. I was told by dining room staff that I could order room service and charge it to my room. But when the food arrived, I was told I needed to pay cash, which I did. The next time I ordered room service I asked the front desk if i could charge it to my room. They said yes. These inconsistencies were noticeable. The first few days I got two towels refreshed. By day 7 I was only getting one and had to ask for a second one. The pool area was beautiful, the dining room was room and staff were lovely, security was excellent. But there needs to be a door, some privacy between the beds & restroom for sure.
