Villa Serena da Luz

Villa Serena da Luz is nestled in the peaceful area of Vila Serena just a ten-minute walk from the centre of Praia da Luz with its shops, restaurants, bars and of course beautiful beach.

The professionally-cleaned property is ideally suited for family groups. It has a spacious en-suite master bedroom, two twin-bedrooms and a fourth bedroom with a double bed, also en-suite. The master bedroom and one twin bedroom have very small balconies with the second double bedroom having a private terrace with a sea view. The family bathroom serves the two twin-bedded rooms.

There is a bright and spacious lounge with dining area and patio doors on to a covered dining terrace that looks out over the pool that has a small waterfall and also a "jacuzzi" seat. The villa has free multi-lingual television channels and Wi-Fi.

The barbecue uses carcoal for grilling and the open-plan, fully-equipped kitchen also has a dining table with four chairs.

The garden has a slide and two swings; one for a toddler and the other for an older child.

Access to the house is through electric gates with the possibility of parking two cars in the drive way.

There are two water parks within a 30-minute drive of the house and a bus services which runs a return service from Lagos to the water parks and back everyday.

There is also a theme park (Zoomarine) within a 45-minute drive and which also runs a bus service from Lagos. Zoomarine's main attractions include exhibitions by dolphins, seals and sea lions, an aquarium with sharks, 4D cinema, various rides, attractions and swimming pools.

If you are an animal lover, Lagos Zoo is also only a 10- to 15-minute drive away with the monkey islands a great favourite with children.

For keen golfers, there are 40 golf courses in the Algarve, of which over 10 can be found within a 30-minute drive of the apartment. The nearest, Boavista Golf, has 18 holes and is only 3kms away.

Lagos marina is only a few minutes' drive away. From here you can take daily boat trips around the caves, go on dolphin watching trips. It is also possible to go sea kayaking, paddle boarding, deep sea fishing and take part in an array of other water-based activities.

If you are interested in history Lagos is a city steeped in it, with origins dating as far back as 2000 years BC.
