What a wonderful find! We loved staying here and used the hotel as home base while exploring the east and north coasts. Sharon is a wonderful host and the food was also excellent, loved the breakfasts AND our dinners. The little bar is cozy and welcoming, we even enjoyed a wood fire.
We got the room with a magnificent view on the train bridge and river, and had dinner, breakfast and a little walk to the castle. We saw an osprey in the vicinity. Little options for walking close by. The lady of the house was very friendly. It turned out to be complicated to get the shower started, a little instruction would be nice
Such an amazing hotel, already trying to work out dates to visit again.
We arrived having forgotten to ask if the hotel was dog friendly, and were delighted that they were able to make a dog friendly room available. We got lovely service had a very nice meal and generally loved our stay :)
Great location for exploring the Highlands. Spent four nights going in different directions. Staff were very friendly, nice bar to return home to. Cooked breakfast was good.
Absolutely fabulous - would love to return again. (Was there last 47 years ago !) Cheryl is delightful and a lovely host. All the food was yummy. K/S bedroom was extremely comfortable.
Such a great location, with easy access to east, west and north routes form here. We stayed only one night but were well looked after. Lovely room at the front with a great view over the river. Dinner in the pub offered some nice choices and we enjoyed the food. Breakfast next day was a real treat.
