Great rooms, great location!!

This a great hotel, reasonably priced for the area (in early October). With its own beach and pool, and in walking distance to the downtown area, it really can’t be beat! I enjoyed my stay so much that I asked to stay another night and while my current room was unavailable, they let me move straight away into a room downstairs. Both rooms were nice, but had noticeable dust and heavy cobwebs on the walls and lights above the sink; everything else was very clean! My only complaint is that the plumbing/water in the shower is so insanely loud- I could even hear the neighbors. These are minor in the grand scheme, if you are ever in the Adirondacks/visiting Lake George, I highly recommend staying here!!

Mattress was uncomfortable. Accessible room was well thought out with exception to the bed height. It was about 3-4” above chair height. Property is not very accessible. Main building is accessible and you can get to the dining room where the serve breakfast. There is a large slope to the pool but the pool itself is not accessible. Beach area is not accessible. I am not sure about the bar since it was being renovated.

If you book a lake view room you have to haul your luggage a great fistance as there is no parking wiyh 300 feet of the buildings, no help no carts. Front desk rude and uncaring. Resturant and lounge not open. Empty place.

Upon check-in I told Sadie at the front desk that I had paid extra to not be on the first floor because I felt unsafe. Sadie looked and then informed me that the hotel was booked and there were no second floor properties available for less than an extra $100 per night. She then said it was Expedia's problemThe hotel was empty except for (starting at 5am) a large group of loud spanish speaking men who stayed in the parking lot outside of my sliding door the entire day until a large white van picked them up at the end of the day. The ac never worked and I had to crack my door for air so in addition to safety issues never slept because of the loud men outside my door daily. The bath also does not have a vent so good luck traveling with a partner. Stay somewhere else, there is a million better choices all around the area and Sadie should consider a job not in customer service

Appalling! They DO NOT have 2 bedroom suites!

Absolutely the worst hotel experience of my life! Be warned: they lied about the room type. I booked what was advertised as a two-bedroom suite, but on arrival it was just a cramped one-bedroom suite with an extra bed in the common space. When I calmly raised this with the front desk, they sneered “too bad for you” and shouted over me the entire time I tried to speak. They admitted they don’t even have real two-bedroom suites but refused to move us or make it right. When I pressed the issue, they ordered me and my party to leave the premises under threat of calling the police. That was all while I hadn’t checked out and still had a charge on my card. Imagine paying for a stay, being screamed at, kicked out for daring to object, and then still billed for it. And even if management hadn’t been hostile, the room itself was appalling: horrendous odor, rundown furniture, noise from every direction (not an exaggeration), and multiple “amenities” closed without warning. No breakfast, no rooftop, despite being the very reasons we booked. In short: false advertising, abusive staff, unlivable conditions, and fraudulent billing. Stay far, far away.
