We came for a short overnight stay. The property manager met us upon arrival. The short tour provided was unnecessary and awkward. I couldâve done without complaints of previous guests and detailed explanations. The unit was very cold upon arrival, and we were informed the furnace wouldnât be on until October. There was a space heater available but it didnât shut off automatically leading to us waking up sweating in the middle of the night. There wasnât a coffeemaker in the unit, but it was provided upon request. The walls were paper thin, and we were woken up early by neighbors in the adjacent unit. The furnishings and layout were⊠interesting. The fold up table serving as a desk was an interesting choice. As were the binder clips holding together curtains. I was also surprised there was no TV and that we couldnât lock the unit when we left for dinner. Hope you donât need privacy, the bathroom is separated from the bedroom with a curtain and room dividers. If we had paid less than $100/night, none of these things would be terribly irksome, but for over $200 a night after taxes and fees Iâd expect more traditional amenities and a more hospitable host.
