The staff were very friendly, but the hotel was very dirty and an awful smell to it. The wall heater literally fell off the wall when we tired to turn it on. The staff was very helpful and moved us to a new room. But that room had a very intoxicating smell to it. We checked out of the hotel and stayed at Margaritaville, which we loved and plan on staying there again. I would not recommend staying at the Quality inn.

The picture is totally deceiving. It’s a 10 minute walk to the water and when you get to the water, it’s gated off because it’s private property. You can’t even get to the water. The hotel is cold. Definitely needs a remodel and when you book through Expedia, I have learned to Experience you always get the worst room. I was put next to the ice machine next to the community kitchen next to the elevator, they could not have picked a worse room for me. I do not recommend this place.

While the overall stay was adequate, we did notice a few areas that could benefit from attention. The hallway leading to the guest rooms had a persistent, unfamiliar odor that detracted from the welcoming atmosphere. Additionally, the carpeting throughout the corridor appeared stained, suggesting it may be due for replacement or deep cleaning. These details, though minor, impacted the first impression and overall sense of comfort. I hope management considers addressing these issues to enhance the guest experience. We were immediately impressed by the front desk gentleman’s professionalism and warmth; he made us feel welcome and at ease right away.

The staff here is courteous and the room was really nice and a great value. Breakfast had everything I needed! The location in South Lake Tahoe is close to everything and the air is so fresh from all the pine trees. You can tell this hotel is run by people who care about doing a good job.

No room secice u less staying 3 or more days. Tv kept breaking up and cutting out. Theres a light right outside the window. So even if i wanted to see outside at night it nlinds the room. Hot tub works but the bubbles go up instead of out. Shower presser super low and very small. All in all a decent place to crash. Room are small but work.
