The breakfasts was delicious..the room impeccable..Mark and Brenda were so kind and welcoming to us. We enjoyed meeting their family. From the moment we got there it felt like we knew them for years. Will return and highly recommend
What a blessing to find this beautiful historic place in northern Lancaster County. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the care in restorations was evident. Breakfasts were filling and delicious. The thing we enjoyed most was the wonderful conversations around the table with the hosts and other guests.
This bed and breakfast was a beautiful home in a very quiet and peaceful setting. The interior and exterior of the home was authentic colonial style. Very clean and inviting. The homemade breakfasts every morning were amazing! Brendaâs cooking and breakfast options were excellent! She took such meticulous care of the home and the daily breakfasts. We cannot wait to return to this oasis!
Incredible home and very relaxing atmosphere. The Millers very gracious and helpful. It is a very quite area. The breakfast was a gourmet treat. Beautifully appointed suites that were very comfortable. The antiques are restored for useful perposes. We'll certainly return and recommend to friends.
It's lovely inn but lacks real locks on the doors to the suite. I did not feel safe. There's not very much parking.
The owners are quite lovely. I did feel a bit awkward when the owner insisted on prayer before the breakfast. I am not of the same faith as Brenda but felt the praying was mandatory.
The food was great and the grounds are lovely. The location is a little more rustic than I expected.
Overall, it's a nice place if you are a conservative Christian.
It's in all the house that's was renovated beautifully to keep the old charm intact. I love that the bedroom had its own bathroom the bathroom was modernized. This surroundings were extremely quiet. Very charming stay. I would do it again
Never stayed in a bed and breakfast, this was one of the best time we spent on vacation. I highly recommend doing this, the views are incredible, the people are so friendly ! We absolutely loved it!!!
I had a wonderful experience in this historic inn. The entire property was beautiful and I stayed in a unique room with antique furniture. I was served the best breakfast experience Iâve had at a U.S. Inn. It was home cooked, delicious, and so much better than continental breakfast. The host Brenda was very welcoming and accommodating.
Felt welcomed the minute you entered the property. Very nice place to decompress for an overnight or extended period of time. I was in the area for a wedding in Eden and found this gem within 30 minutes of venue. Had a home cook meal - no reheating from packaged food - homemade jam and applesauce. Would highly recommend..
My mother and I stayed at the Brownstone while exploring Amish country. The feeling from the moment we walked through the front door was incredible. Mark and Brenda are top notch hosts!! We stayed in the Shaker Suite which provided the feeling of being together but gave us the space of two separate bedrooms. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and Mark opened each meal with a prayer. The guests we met were repeat guests and having been to Brownstone, I can now say I understand why people come back. We canât wait to visit again!
Brenda and Mark are incredibly gracious hosts and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. Our room was very comfortable with all of the creature comforts and the icing on the cake were the delicious breakfasts- homemade, hot breakfasts including fresh ingredients from their garden! The house and the grounds are absolutely beautiful and Brenda provided excellent recommendations of local areas to visit and dining options. Thank-you Brenda and Mark for a lovely stay- we hope to visit again!
The whole area is wonderfully peaceful. The Inn was particularly so. The hosts were lovely, caring people who have poured their hearts into making Brownstone Colonial Inn a place or restoration and rest.
