A hidden gem

What a lovely place to stay ! The staff were so lovely and attentive, making us feel very welcome. The villa was lovely and tranquil, with beautiful views of the paddy fields.

What an IDYLLIC place to stay while vacationing on this beautiful island of Langkawi. The owner/manager Mr. T is super friendly as are the entire staff. Mr. T knows Langkawi like the back of his hand, and will guide you to every attraction in Langkawi. For the price we paid, we were surprised that breakfast was included. And they offer a proper breakfast, not just cereal and toast. The menu is a la carte and you may choose a different option everyday. Plus there is exotic fresh fruit, pastries, savouries, cakes, donuts, tea, coffee, fruit juice, local delicacies, and cereal (of course). The room was very comfortable, hot shower, cold A/C and super comfortable bed. There are also two swimming pools to cool off in after a hot and humid day. If you visit Langkawi, Paddy Villa is THE place to stay.

Great choice

The hotel was well worth the investment. The service was great and it wss quite modern. The breakfast offers a lot of varities. The location is in the middle of the island so you will need a grab or a scooter in order to travel to beaches. There are some good restaurants nearby. For this price it is a great choice and highly recommended.

Tja, hoe beoordeel je deze accommodatie? De eerdere recensies kloppen, het is een schitterende accommodatie, met mooie kamers, met het vriendelijkste personeel van Langkawi en met een uitstekend ontbijt. De prijs meer dan waard en voelt els 4-sterren accommodatie. En toch, de accommodatie was minder schoon dan verwacht, ligt vlak aan drukke weg en nogal afgelegen. Lastig om plek voor lunch en diner te vinden. Toch een aanrader, neem scooter en oordopjes mee en geniet van de gastvrijheid.
