The house is nice, location isnât great. There was no foosballâs for the table but they ordered more. The biggest problem was there was no air in the second story room. The last night we werenât even able to sleep in that room because it was so hot.
We very much enjoyed your well appointed property in Lansing. We used the kitchen to prep both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day dinners for our elderly parents to enjoy at their condo. Will definitely keep this on the list for our next trip to visit family!
So we decided to come up from Houston and rent this property. Iâve gotta say that it was a little different in that I had never been in a property with a basement. That said everything was very nice. There were a couple of things that I didnât care for, but that would not stop me from renting this property again. First of all the driveway is very narrow. It wouldâve been nice if there was a bit more room as we drove a large SUV to get there. Also, the road in front of the property is very busy. The traffic noise did not bother me, but getting in and out is a bit tricky. This property has a very nice kitchen and patio area, but since it was snowing, we didnât go outside. Also, we drove to a different area of Lansing, but I realized that this property is very well located and youâre within minutes of a lot of businesses. Would rent this property again.
Came for a golf trip with friends.
Check in and communication with the host was great. The house was perfect for us.
Only complaint is the second for is quite warm even with the ac cranked. And the shower drain was clogged.
Would stay again.
Our family wanted more space than a hotel room would allow when we recently attended an event at MSU. While small, this charming home was well updated and stocked with everything we needed. The location worked well for us as it was close to MSU. We were a bit surprised at how busy the road was that the house sits on but as country folk we are just not used to busy roads in general. Overall a fantastic stay at an extremely clean and well updated home.
Our family of five had no problem staying here for two nights while we were in the area. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and dishes. The bedrooms had good linens and pillows. We loved the light filtering blinds, but also the blackout curtains. The ping-pong table, whose table, board games and TV in the basement also Were clean and well kept. Communication from the host was great and we would recommend this to anyone needing to stay in the area.
The only thing we would comment on: is maybe rethink the configuration of the room with the twin beds. The trundle we pulled out and made an L shape, but the desk and dresser made it difficult to move about the room when both beds were used . We noticed the neighbors had a little outdoor table and chairs, that might be a nice addition to the backyard for future guests.
I have stayed in I think 12 VRBO house all with excellent reviews. This is a very old house with a bandage on it.
The WEEDS in the lawn were 8 inches high.
My friends and I were in Lansing for a Sierra Club event. This property was the perfect place for us to stay. It was so cute and comfortable. It was very clean and the host was very considerate and responsive. If in Lansing, I will definitely stay here again!
We were in for just one night and needed somewhere we could land, play games, and catch up with friends.
The house was exactly as described! We were very comfortable and had fun playing board games at the kitchen table.
We will stay again if we are in the area!
This charming home is exactly as listed. The kitchen was fully stocked. Plenty of linens. Located close to food and shopping. We would definitely stay again in the need arises.
Josh was very helpful with our stay. The property was clean and well prepared for our visit. The TVs had a great system that logs you out of your apps at the end of your stay (very cool). We left some expensive items at the house when we left and Josh offered to secure and mail these items to us at our new home out of state. Overall fantastic experience!
I wish we had found this home four years ago when our son started at MSU because it is the PERFECT home away from home! Our three-generation family stayed here for graduation weekend and truly enjoyed our visit. The house was immaculate, with plenty of comfy spots for everyone. The game room space in the basement had so much to offer in the way of games and entertainment, and the large, new washing machine and dryer were much appreciated. The kitchen is well-appointed with pots and pans that were in great shape and offered plenty of counter space and room for everyone to move about at meal time. The beds were super dreamy, and the bathroom was spa-like. We could get to and from campus quickly and easily, and our favorite spot, The Soup Spoon, was just up the road. But what truly set this property apart from all the others we stayed at over the years was the property manager, Josh. He was INCREDIBLE! So responsive and helpful, not to mention informative. I can't recommend this property and management company enough!!!
The house very comfortable. Great kitchen and stocked very well. Nice game room down stairs board games, ping pong table, fuseball table , tv. Very nice washer and drier. Tv's in all bedrooms. Neighbors were very friendly and helpful. We would book again if available when coming through.
This property was exactly as pictured online. It was very clean and modern. House had all the comforts of home and great quality linen/towels/bedding. Our kids enjoyed the basement which had foosball and ping pong. I really appreciated the ease of checking in & out. Communication with property management was the best/fastest I've experienced with VRBO.
