The front desk lady was nice, but the room had a weird smell. We decided to go the bar downstairs and the bartender didn't acknowledge us even though there were like a total of 5 people there so we left, when we came back (through the bar) we showed our room key and since they were playing a song we liked we decided to go to the empty dance floor and have fun just to get pulled by a security guard to ask us if we were staying there (!) then they checked my purse. It's a cheap hotel and it shows, you get what you pay for.

Check in was inconvenient going through the bar at Gold Spike then walking with bags back to Oasis. The oasis pool was pretty -cold in Feb. the front desk was friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Not the best renovations but decent for the price. Great cheap place near Fremont. Overall it’s a fun place just steps from Fremont Street experience and lots of fun activities in the adult playground. Looks great for group events.

The 21 hotel part of the property is located above the nightclub...poolside rooms allow minors. Surprisingly quiet in the hotel above the nightclub! Outdoor area was cool but wasn't being used during our stay.

The bird poop on car was horrible, but free parking was good. No coffee at night or at the bar. Close enough to walk to freemont st and starbucks. Dont think I would stay again but didnt hate it. It was ok.

This was my 10th stay at Oasis since December. In that time I've left 1 review that wasnt ideal. The young lady (Thelma) asked me several times about my staying by myself which I always do. Then put me in a room beside the maintenance closet. This past stay Thelma checked me and again found the farthest most inconvenient room again next to a maintenance closet. The window overlooked an alley with dumpsters and yet the facility was barely half full. I went task Thelma why she has now done this twice to me when the other 8 times I've stayed I had a room overlooking the pool. She was almost immediately defensive and made no effort at all to explain why I was stuffed into the rooms that she had assigned, or even attempt to apologize. She should be nowhere near a customer service position, and her behavior could only be described as racist since there's seemingly no other reason for how she's treated me, while the 8 other stays were wonderful.

Bare Bones Accommodations

First the good: bed was very comfortable, staff was very friendly and helpful, the shower actually flowed enough water and the price was good. There is a place for a laptop, which should be standard these days but unfortunately not. However, absolutely NO frills: no closet (although plenty of hooks in the room on which to hang things), no safe, no ironing board or iron, no refrigerator - not even a soap dish in the tub/shower. The room is as basic as it gets. A/C was effective but noisy - had to turn the volume of the TV up when it came on and then reduce it when the unit went off, even on low fan speed.

Thelma was wonderful at check in. Was told I had to "spin the wheel" once I reviewed it at check in when I checked out. The prizes were late check out, early check in, etc. If I am checking out how could I utilize early check in? Had to used on this visit I was told. Kind of sketchy neighborhood (of course it is Downtown Vegas) but felt safe.

I love this place. Yes, it’s older, but they have gone over the top to make your time there fun. It has the prefect vibe of fun and relaxing at the same time.

A little louder overnight on this particular stay, but it was super bowl night so that wasn't very surprising. Otherwise, a very nice, clean stay as I've come to expect. Always recommend for a very reasonably priced, safe, and clean hotel with very convenient access to everything in the Fremont Street area
