Room Key Received Two Hours Late

Dear Hotel Rio Hotel & Casino We would like to share an experience that unfortunately affected our stay. We did not receive the key to our room until 6:00 PM, even though you state that rooms are ready by 4:00 PM at the latest. This was very disappointing, as we lost two valuable hours of our trip just waiting. We hope you will take this into consideration so that future guests will not face the same situation. I enjoyed staying at the Rio Hotel. It was clean, and the employees were friendly. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and there was shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and lotion in large pump bottles, which is easier and reduces waste. I loved the bathroom setup! There was a sink, large counter, and big mirror outside of the bathroom itself, and a counter, sink, mirror, toilet, and shower inside - great for getting up and ready without bothering anyone and also for putting on makeup and doing hair while someone else is in the bathroom or shower. Someone took the privacy door hanger off my door, so I got quite a scare when housekeeping knocked in the morning. Other than that, I wasn't disturbed by noise or anything. I went to see the show WOW, and it was pretty impressive. I thought it was weird, though, that when I booked my ticket, the website showed that there weren't many seats left, but the theater ended up only being a little over half full. Supposedly, my seat was the only one left in my row, but no one sat in the two seats to my right or on the other side of the two couples on my left. Weird! Check-in was really easy at the kiosk. I paid the $15 to check in early, so I got in my room at 1:30pm. I was very disappointed that the kiosks weren't working for check-out. Also, the wifi only worked on the first of my three days there. Luckily, that was the day I needed it most.

The room was spacious and clean. Connecrions for your electronics everywhere. Public bathrooms very clean, lots to do and eat. Great hotel to stay at.

The Rio was much better than I expected. Great value for such a big room. We stayed in one of the renovated king suites. We will definitely be back. Having free valet and parking is a huge plus!

Large clean room with comfortable bed and pillows. The staff was friendly. I have been going to the Rio for approximately 40 years. Throughout this time it has seen several renovations. When in Vegas, it is the only hotel I would consider staying at.

Nice remodeling of rooms.

The upgrading of the hotel rooms is very nice. Accommodations done well. The check on was still a poor experience. Only one person checking in people for the first 30 minutes in line then finally a second. This wasn’t even a very busy time. There was a very long line of people checking that extended way out to the casino floor.
