It was nice to have a room on the first floor and close to the ice machine, pool area, casino and restaurants. The New Pioneer is also very close to the Golden Nugget and lots of other dining options. The New Pioneer is very convenient to the strip and walking distance to all the other resorts casinos.

The room had no coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator. Tv remote didn't have options such as menu, working edit buttons. Elevator didn't work and we were on 3rd floor. Had to use wooden stairs for luggage and other amenities.
