The location of this cabin was near the trails. It was nice and secluded. Two days prior to our stay, a storm went through. There was a large tree that fell over the fire pit and took down the lights surrounding it. This was one of my reasons for booking this cabin, as I love white outdoor lights. You canât predict what Mother Nature will do, but it disappointed me that it wasnât lit. That was a bummer for us, but after contacting the owner, the tree was cleared the following day. The cabin could use a fresh coat of paint, and the water smells of sulfur. We did take our own drinking water, and there was a Brita filter in the fridge. The bedding wasnât what Iâd call luxury, but it didnât keep us from a good nightâs sleep. The ceiling fan rattles on the high setting, so we kept it on low. There werenât an abundance of drinking glasses, but for two people it is ok. The charcoal grill listed was similar to what youâd see in a park. We were glad we didnât plan to use it. The bathroom washcloths were in the bedroom drawer, which I didnât find til we left. I did find garbage (wad of hair and a bandaid wrapper) behind the bathroom trash upon arrival. Im a neat freak, so that really grossed me out. The Wi-Fi worked great, and the Keurig was appreciated.
