The location was spectacular and the apartment was as shown on the website. We were five people traveling and had enough space for all of us. We could walk anywhere we needed to go. It’s also on the bus route but we chose to walk. Would definitely recommend staying at this location.

Wonderful property and amazing location! Just a short walk to a restaurant WeidstĂŒbli with really good food! We ate there twice! Beautiful view of Staubach falls and the snow-capped mountains of Switzerland from th deck! Our best day here was going to Schilthorn and then walking from Murren to Gimmelwald and eating lunch at the little restaurant there. Thanks for sharing your place with us!

Wonderful location absolutely breathtaking! We started out with a little bit of confusion on which stop to get off the bus. Should’ve gotten off one stop later and would’ve been right in front of the condo. But once we got inside, it was clean both inside and out. Thanks for a wonderful place to end adventure

We had the most amazing stay and loved every minute of being in this little town. The home was perfect and equipped with everything we needed and in a great location. We will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone. Loved loved loved it all.

Amazing everything!!!

This place was fantastic, location, views, beds, bathrooms, nice thick towels, very clean, full kitchen, it made our stay that much more enjoyable!!! You can walk everywhere in a few minutes. The Swiss people are patient and kind !! Our first impression of Oberland area..no words can describe the beauty!!

Nice apartment in a perfect location

The apartment has a spacious living room and open kitchen, which was very good for our group. Also, the closeness to the bus stop was perfect for us. The host, Diarmuid, was responsive and very supportive with all questions we had. All in all we were happy there.

Die Wohnung ist grosszĂŒgig und bestens ausgestattet! Es war sehr sauber. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern war unkompliziert und schnell. Die Lage ist perfekt zwischen zwei Skigebieten (MĂŒrren - Schilthorn und Grindelwald - Wengen), der Skibus ist direkt vor der HaustĂŒre. Wir wĂŒrden jederzeit wiederkommen, besten Dank!

Sehr schöne Wohnung in Top-Lage

Die Wohnung ist mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet, was man braucht. Ihre Lage ist hervorragend, die Bushaltestelle liegt vor der TĂŒr und die Fahrt zum Bahnhof Lauterbrunnen betrĂ€gt 3 Minuten. Einziger Nachteil war, dass die angegebene Anschrift falsch war. So musste zunĂ€chst Kontakt mit der Agentur und anschließend mit dem Vermieter aufgenommen werden. Auch der angegebene Name des Vermieters an der HauseingangstĂŒr war nicht korrekt. Man musste erst in den Mietvertrag schauen, um den richtigen Namen zu finden. So hat es eine Stunde gedauert, bis wir nach Ankunft endlich in Wohnung konnten. Der Aufenthalt war dann perfekt, Diamuid sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend; eie klare Empfehlung.

Wir hatten hier eine tolle Woche. Die Wohnung ist groß genug fĂŒr 6 Personen, gut ausgestattet, mit schönem Ausblick und direkt an der Bushaltestelle. Wir sind Ski gefahren, gewandert und gerodet. Das Wetter war traumhaft und das Panorama ist einmalig schön. Vor allem die Orte Gimmelwald und MĂŒrren sind einen Besuch wert. Das öffentliche Verkehrssystem inklusive Gondeln und Lifte funktioniert gut. Alle Schweizer sind sehr freundlich. Vielen Dank fĂŒr die schöne Zeit!

We enjoyed the place

Clean and spacious apartment. Have everything we need (6 of us) for the whole week. Diarmuid is great to work with. The only thing guest should know is that the beds are kind of short. If you are over 6 ft tall, you might find it a bit tight.

Waterfall heaven

The apartment was clean, spacious, comfortable and met all the needs of our family of 6 (17yo and up). Diarmund and Cascia were excellent hosts. They provided detailed communication, quick responses to questions and Cascia met us shortly after we arrived to orient us and also provided many local recommendations. Words will not suffice to describe the beauty and peacefulness found on the balcony... Surrounded by snow capped mountains and at least 3 waterfalls (one of which is lit at night) with the background music of rushing water, birds chirping and cowbells. It doesn't get much better.

We loved staying here and our host was very easy to communicate with.

Clean, spacious, comfortable home with the most amazing view from the deck! We enjoyed the walk from the back across the meadow to get to the path to town or to walk futher into the valley. The campground's store and restaurant are very convenient if you don't feel like walking to town. Bus stop is right in front of the property so easy to get to train and train station. We LOVED this area in Switzerland....breathtaking!

Nice apartment!

We stayed with 4 adults and 2 children for one week over New Year’s Eve. We very much enjoyed the nice and clean apartment in Lauterbrunnen. To have two bathrooms was clearly a benefit. The nearest ski bus stop was just opposite the main street - perfect! In fact we didn’t use our car during the whole stay. Thanks to Di(armuid) for his friendly introduction & explanations.

Clean, Functional and very well located

We were a party of 2 couples staying for a 2 week holiday in Lauterbrunnen a place we had visited a few times before so we knew the area and the location of the apartment having stayed on the same complex twice before. The arrival information and access was easy and straightforward. On entry we found the apartment clean, comfortable and well presented although we did discover a small issue which was very quickly resolved by the owner. The location of the apartment is ideal with easy access to busses, trains and Lauterbrunnen centre. It is also ideal for activities straight out of the door. We also found that the Shop and Restaurant at the Jungfrau campsite to be very good, with the shop being well stocked for most things. Be advised the restaurant is well priced and very good but gets very busy and it's not always possible to book. Our 2 weeks passed far too quickly and we made very good use of the apartment, returning most days to sit on the balcony admiring the view of the mountains whilst partaking of some beverages. We had no problems with the apartment and half way through our stay we got a change of towels and bedding, but unlike our stays in other apartments at Hafod a Hendre the beds were made up, bins emptied and things like dishwasher tablets were all replenished. All in all a great 2 weeks and the apartment was a great base offering all we needed for our stay. Not cheap, but we'd happily return.

Perfect location, perfect place

Lots of space for extended family of 7, including 3 teenagers. The most comfortable beds ever which was perfect after long days in the mountains. Centrally located so everything was easily accessible. Beautiful mountain views from living room and deck. We hated to leave!

Loved Lauterbrunnen, stunning scenery and great comfortable condo!

We are so happy we stayed in the town of Lauterbrunnen, it was very convenient for day trips and the scenery was stunning! The condo was well equipped and very comfortable. We walked into town often using the path behind the complex and it was only about a 10-15 min easy walk. We also took the bus which was super convenient going either to the train or in the other direction to the cable car leading up to the Schilthorn. The bus stops were right outside the complex operating buses every half hour. The camp ground right next door was great too! We ate at the restaurant and stopped for a drink there after a long day of touring. The food was very good and the prices were reasonable! Diarmuid was great to deal with and gave us some great travel advice as it was our first time visiting Switzerland. I would highly recommend staying here!
