WONDERFUL SPACIOUS CHALET IN BOURG D’OISANS - SLEEPS 10(*supplement available up to 16)
This wonderful house offers exceptional Cyclist/Ski friendly accommodation, perfectly suited to larger groups and families looking to be based in a stunning location and just a short drive/ride from the centre of Bourg d'Oisans, and to the ski lift in Allemond in the winter months. In the winter months walk 100m to the bus stop for the free navette reaching the Eau d’Olle express ski lift in Allemond in just 15 minutes.
Le Catelan offers spacious comfortable, self-catered accommodation for up to sixteen guests in five nicely decorated bedrooms all with ensuite bathroom and WC.
The house boasts excellent facilities including a well equipped professional kitchen, large secure bike/Ski storage, TV, Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, furnished garden and private parking. Pets are welcome.
With a great location in the valley on a quiet lane just off the main road running through the valley to Bourg d'Oisans. The house sits in pretty gardens and is surrounded by wonderful mountain views. There is a private parking area in front of the house with space to park several vehicles.
An external staircase leads to the first-floor terrace, on the left side of the terrace is the entrance to a separate rental accommodation and on the right is the entrance to Le Petite Catelan. You enter directly from the terrace into the spacious open plan living/dining/kitchen area.
The living room has a welcoming, mountain style interior and a fabulous wood burning stove, TV, and comfortable sofas and chairs. There is a large dining table with seating for 18 guests and a well-equipped professional kitchen with high quality kitchen appliances including a large fridge freezer, gas stove, coffee machine and dishwasher, making self-catering on holiday a pleasure!
The larger of the five bedrooms is on the first floor and had a double bed, adult bunk beds and a further two single beds suitable for adults on the mezzanine. There is an en suite bathroom with full bath.
The remaining four bedrooms are on the ground floor and accessible by the external staircase. Each bedroom has a combination of either double, single and adult sized good quality bunk beds to cater for all group types. Each bedroom has a modern en suite bathroom with a bath or shower and separate WC, the bedrooms have plenty of storage for personal items.
To the side of the building on the ground floor is a large secure well equipped bike store, with bike tools, wall hooks, track pump and stand. There are also ski racks and space to store winter sports equipment. Here you can find a washing machine and tumble dryer for your use.
The house has an enviable location set in a small hamlet of le Sable, on a quiet lane within pretty gardens and with furnished outdoor space to relax or to enjoy an evening aperitif together. There are sun loungers, and table and chairs for al fresco dining.
The Voie Verte traffic free cyclist path can be accessed from the house to Allemond in one direction and to Bourg d'Oisans and Venosc in the other. This provides a safe route to the villages when walking or riding together as a family.
