Like at many places these days, I wish kleenex was provided! An as to the water to coffee packet- glad we had brought own as 1 packet with 6 cups water was way thin brew! key pads on doors worked well once we figured out what you had to do to get them to work right!
Rating 5 stars. Our Summer stay was wonderful. One designated parking spot right by the entrance. Entering the unit was a relief, no bad/odd odors. Outside temp was 100 F but inside was refreshing 71. Even with direct sunlight shining down through the skylights, there were no hot surfaces. Loved the full-size refrigerator/freezer. Although the building is older, the space was professionally remodeled. The feel was very modern and clean. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of town. We would stay here again. The Inn has three suites, A/B/C. A is in the front of the building with entry on 8th. B & C are in the back facing the parking lot. Not much of a view. C is the main floor with B upstairs. The guest(s) in C had the TV playing loudly but we didn't hear it when we were in our unit, only when entering/exiting the building. It seems there is a connecting door between the upstairs units, A & B. That is only a guess since it was locked. Not shown in the photos is a heavy sound-dampening blanket covering that door and a portion of that wall. I didn't take a photo of the blanket but I am posting a photo of the door I am referring to, which is between the dining area and the kitchen. During our stay it sounded like there was a guest staying in Suite A that we could hear if we were standing in that area. That was a bit weird so we spent most of our time in the living room. I doubt most guests would care about it.
Very nice and very clean also well furnished with ample supplies. Perfect location. The only negative comment is bath tub is very deep and should have grab bars. We are in eighties and not quite as agile as we once were. Still we really liked the place.
We loved how we could walk everywhere. Perfect for our annual girls trip. The only criticism we had was it was pretty loud which made it hard to sleep. And need to have wine glasses in a town like Leavenworth! But overall great rental. Thank you!
Uncomfortable layout; should NOT advertise it sleeps 6
The property was decent overall -- clean, expected appliances, amenities, etc., however it's a very small space that has some pretty significant drawbacks:1) The listing says it sleeps six, and while there *is* a fold out bed in the living room it is NOT a "double" nor a "full" as listed, but a small loveseat with a little trundle mattress that *maybe* would fit a 7 year old and 5 year old (main total sleeping area is *maybe* 5 feet by 3 feet).2) The only bathroom in the unit is on the kitchen side of the living room, which means all guests have to pass within a foot of the fold out bed in the living room in order to use the bathroom -- this means that if there is anyone sleeping on the fold out bed they will very likely be woken up repeatedly by others as they pass through the area.3) The low ceilings in the bedrooms make them feel kind of claustrophobic -- this, like the fold out bed size, is alluded to in the listing, but the actual experience isn't all that pleasant -- I'm 5'8" and my son is 5' 10" and we both felt like we almost had to duck when moving around the bedrooms. It's overall just a cramped space.Bottom line: 4 small-to-medium sized adults can fairly comfortably use this space -- more than that will definitely not be comfortable.
My friend and I booked a last minute Leavenworth Christmas trip, and so we were sort of expecting to "take what we could get". I was so beyond pleased with this listing! The apartment was warm, beautifully decorated, and right in town. With a parking spot to boot! Check in was so easy and the owners really took measures to make sure their guests have a good stay. Thank you for making our trip magical!
My family and I loved our stay! The place was clean, well-stocked, decorated nicely, and comfortable! The location can't be beat--it's a 2 minute walk from entertainment. The host is really responsive and kind.
It was an awesome place to stay the perfect distance from downtown and all the shops . And if you're inclined to have some late night drinks, there's a pub literally right around the corner
The place was very nice. The kitchen was excellent and the sky lights were a nice surprise and made the space very nice. The tub was higher than normal which made showering awkward but that's the only complaint i can make about the place.
Thus property was perfect for being in close proximity to all the best sledding spots for our kiddos, downtown shopping for me, and breakfast spots for my husband. We loved having all the amenities for our stay in one place and made alot of use of the dryer. Management was responsive and communicative and we were always able to reach a human at anytime we needed it. Highly reccomend to anyone considering staying here.
This rental is right in downtown Leavenworth, very clean and well stocked. Beds were comfortable and was nice and warm in this chilly December. Overall would go here again.
