Pre-check in and check in were were great due to the communications sent to us ahead of time with all of the info. The whole house is beautifuly decorated and in a wonderful location near the Campmeeting tabernacle. The kitchen and bathrooms were perfect and I look forward to staying there again.
We loved staying here! First family trip to Hershey Park. Roughly a 30 min ride there, 50 min ride to Lancaster/Intercourse. Cottage was quaint, adorably decorated, great neighbors. Safe place for the kids to wander around and explore. Would def stay here again!
We were here at the end of June. One bedroom had no AC and was hot as an oven and not usable. We kept the door closed the whole time. Otherwise, it was quaint and we enjoyed our stay, though our son had to sleep on the couch because of the heat in the upstairs second bedroom
This cottage was so cozy! The decor was lovely and it was very clean. I messaged the owners because the Keurig coffee maker was not working and they went above and beyond by dropping off a brand new Keurig on the porch within a few hours!!Our favorite part was the covered porch. The string lights and the rocking chairs gave a beautiful and cozy vibe.
Property & house were exactly as described - a cute & cozy house with all the necessary amenities (just like a home away from home). We very much appreciated them allowing dogs. The owners were very polite and very responsive with all their communications. Highly recommended! Thank you for a lovely stay.
We had a wonderful time at this historic house. Mount Gretna is such a welcoming community and having the tall trees surrounding this cozy home is a one-of-a-kind experience. The rental needs some rennovations, but that's to be expected for a home this old. Also, the space is much smaller than it looked in the listing photos. We would love to visit again during the summer months!
Great location in a cozy cottage in walking distance to the lake, restaurants, and rail line for hiking. My kids loved the place and the location. We had a great time.
Very cute house love the area very close to hiking trails only complaint I would have is that they did not have hand soap. We went out and bought some, but it had everything we needed otherwise friendly people in the neighborhood. Our dogs enjoyed it very much as well.
The house met our needs. Floors are unlevel but that didnt bother us. Several boards were actually split and the floor felt weak in those areas. We were unable to turn on the heat in the double bedroom but we just used an extra blanket.
We had a great stay at this super cute place! It had everything we needed! Two full bathrooms were really convenient. We had trouble making friends with the Keurig, but my husband figured it out. My husband also realized that he went to high school with the owner and we actually ran into him at the pizza shop! Great guy! We'll be back!
We had a great time over the weekend. We were there for a baby shower being held at the Mt Gretna fire hall. We could walk to the shower from the house. So this property was perfect for the weekend.
We were looking for a place near Hershey Park that allowed dogsâŠsomething a bit rustic and simple that my 7 and 16 month old grand-babies werenât going to destroy. 114 Otterbain fit our needs perfectly! In the end, it was Mt. Gretna that turned out to be the Main AttractionâŠsuch a unique and magical little placeâŠlike an Enchanted Forest. Looking forward to my next (adults only) trip already!
Nice comfortable cabin in a great location. Enjoyed the entertainment at the Tabernacle, the outdoor art show, food within walking distance and a quiet neighborhood. Our only suggestion would be to fix the broken handrail at the front steps.
We enjoyed the beautiful cottage and all
its historic architecture and upgraded modern charm! super clean, ample
space and beautiful community! We definitely are coming back to stay longer!
House and neighborhood lived up to listing. Walkable distance to lake for swimming and restaurants. Parking was within a 1 minute walk. Property manager promptly responded to questions. Overall would stay again and recommend. Quaint, quiet and clean.
This is a great house to stay in while visiting Mt. Gretna and the surrounding Lebanon and Lancaster counties. We really enjoyed staying at this house.
