The staff was friendly, but the room needs updating. TV only had 1 channel working, a/c in room # 103 is very loud when it cycles on & off. Room picks up a lot of outside noise from gym and ice machine accross the hallway. Breakfast needs additional coffee/hot water machine to avoid waiting in line. Positives are close retail & restaurants nearby. Mt. Dora about 15 minutes away.

Room was clean, but the mattress has definitely seen better days. The air in the room was uncomfortably damp. The shower gave out very little to no hot water—the best I could get was lukewarm on the first night and completely cold the second night. Breakfast was just OK—nothing to get excited about.

We decided to stay here while on our honeymoon out of town. We weren’t used to the area but the front desk customer service representative Melody was AMAZING!! She was such a sweetheart and made us feel right at home. She so kindly upgraded our room and was very thorough while helping other guests as well. They found a hidden gem when they hired her and she would be the reason we would stay there again! Absolutely loved her!! ♥️♥️😊
