Mercure Legian is in an area surrounded by shops and restaurants for kilometers. But with this is the crazy traffic. There are no street lights at intersections, nor are there cross-walks, so you cross the streets at your own peril. The hotel itself is nice with 2 swimming pools. I upgraded to a deluxe pool view room but, unfortunately, my balcony overlooked the family pool which was full of shrieking kids each morning before 8 a.m. As the balcony doors didn't have rubber surrounding the glass to act as a sealant, the glass doors on either end were a good half inch from the wall of the building. Therefore, closing the balcony doors made no difference as the noise was the same, including traffic noise until around 2 a.m. The staff at Mercure Bali were terrific in all areas, reception, porters, bars, restaurants, housekeeping. Thank you for treating us so well.

I had such a wonderful experience staying at this hotel. The staff were absolutely lovely and always made sure to look out for you, which made me feel really welcome and cared for. The hotel itself was spotless and very well maintained, which gave me peace of mind throughout my stay. The restaurant was a highlight – the food was consistently amazing and tasted fantastic every time. The service overall was outstanding, from check-in to dining and everything in between. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and genuinely friendly service.

Nice hotel. Good facilities, good staff. Breakfast was standard. Excellent location for restaurants and shopping, short walk to beach. Good wifi, hot water and comfortable beds. Couldn’t really fault it. 5 stories with quick elevators.

Basic hotel amenities like shower cap, body wash and shampoo not replenished. Had to ask repeatedly. No popular western teabags available, only Jasmine and black tea (unpleasant flavour) asked for a chamomile teabags and was told it would cost me $5 Australian dollars that shocked me. There are no trimmings at this hotel. But the staff are lovely and the position is nice and close to popular sites.

Quite a noisy place. No real barriers to stop the outside noise coming into the rooms. No swim up bar. Breakfast was a 2 out of 5. Personally I feel it was over priced for Bali and what they give. I won’t stay there again.

The property was fine, the only issue we had was that it was very busy, but thats not the hotels fault, breakfast gets busy after 8-8.30, and the area its location is busy, but having said that the staff worked very hard and were very pleasant in particular the breakfast team whi always seem to work very hard, thank you all
