Room had drapes that had rips in several of them. Carpet was stained in multiple places. Furniture had wear and tear. Overall the hotel felt low budget but at a high price.

The Lockbox was good for breakfast one day and dinner another. Location is good. Can walk to many bars and restaurants downtown. Hotel is just average in regards to the room. Lots of street noise until probably 3am and we were on the 11th floor.

The room was immaculate. My only issue was the common bathroom in the lobby. It was terribly maintained and had feces on the toilet and toilet paper all over the floor. We met friends for brunch at the LockBox, and I was embarrassed at the condition of the restroom after commenting to my friends about the high end nature of the hotel. Also, if requiring an 11 AM checkout, there should be a secure area to leave bags, not just sitting them on the floor next to the desk clerk. I was very uncomfortable leaving my bags in the exposed area where anyone could have easily walked by and taken them without the desk clerk being aware.

The worst front desk staff ever. The girls were on their phones the whole time. We Told them the restrooms did not have toilet paper and they ignored us. All of the garbage cans were overflowing in bathroom and by front desk. The entrance was dirty and trash and hair balls were floating around the floor. We paid $900 a night for a filthy hotel. We told them about the hair balls in the front lobby and they ignored us. I had to ask for my breakfast vouchers 4 times and the front desk lady said I looked for you but my contacts must have dried out. The Vouchers should have been given to us at check in. We had to get our own silverware for breakfast. We got our food but had no silverware. The coffee maker was broken in our room and the bed was hard. There was No TV to Watch the UK game at the bar. The Bar shut down at 10:30 on Saturday Game Night and a ton of people still wanted to get a drink. This is just a shame that this hotel has gone so downhill. Maybe they have new management. The 21c used to be know for being a super nice hotel. Now it is dirty hotel with bad service. What a shame.

The bathroom was honestly pretty bad - not clean. Hair in corners on the floor and dirty grout lines everywhere. The toilet never wanted to flush. I expected more for the >$500/night price point in Lexington KY. The room itself was a little dirty as well. The check in staff member was unable to provide any recommendations for us dining/drinks within reasonable walking distance. I will not recommend or stay here again.
