Overall the house did its job. It was nice having the garage. We brought our dogs so it was also nice having a fenced in yard. But the yard was overgrown and there are some sketchy areas that the dogs needed to stay away from. The TV in the living room didnât work because there wasnât any power in the outlet that it was plugged into. Luckily we had an extension cord we could use to another outlet. I did try to contact Victor in the evening but I did not hear from him until the next morning. Iâve stayed in much nicer VRBOs and there is just no way I could give this place a 5 star review.
We came all the way from North Dakota to see our little brotherâs Birthday. The location was amazing and there were many things close by for us to do.
Very neat! Small consideration -the entrance is not handicap assedible nor the bathroom. I should have asked first. We opened the garage door and utilized it. Someone needs to lock up the garage door f
All was good except the dishwasher didnât have the door stay closed for the detergent packet. The front door wouldnât stay closed so had to use the lock. The dog door in the garage was all taped so couldnât allow the dog to use it.
Other than those issues it was a nice place. Comfortable and clean.
The house was close to horse park so that was nice hut the cleanliness wasnt the best all the dishes were dirty and alot of little repairs needed to be done throughout house, grass long and no one keeps up on the weeds. Strong pot smell from neighbors and alot trafficin and out over weekend all hours.
Horrible experience! I had my 82 mom with me smell overpowering of mildew mold. Cleaners were there and they said they told owner it needed deep cleaning. I talked with him and he said give them chance to finish, i did and came back smell same. They said he knows about it but doesnt want to spemd money. I this on recording too
The back outlet that the coffee pot and microwave are pulled into doesnât work! A mop was left behind the bushes at the front porch. Also my husband may have left this driverâs license and insurance card in a black holder there. If house keeping finds it will they contact me?
while the house was ok, the knobs on the washer and dryer would fall off and so it was basically unusable. the big problem we had was that the yard service came and left the gate open and our dog got out and ran all over the neighborhood and it was a massive problem, and we are not notified in the house immediately when the 'neighbor" who cuts the grass let him out. he almost got hit by a car, was terrified, in a new place! then we decided it was just not a safe place for us to stay having people coming in and putting us at risk and not being notified in advance. owner refused to refund us a night stay and actually had the audacity to charge us a fee for towels. we took NOTHING from his property and damaged nothing. just wanted out! i would not recommend this place to anyone with pets, wanting a secure place to stay. Seeing as the "neighbor" is the person that cuts the grass, seems it would be very simple to have it done when guests are not staying there or to be notified when the grass will be cut.
We really enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood felt very safe and it was close to the activities we had planned (Ark Encounter, Old Friends and Downtown Lexington). The house was spacious and clean. The queen beds in the bedrooms, king in the master, and pack n play made our stay great. We have 4 kids so there was plenty of space for everyone.
Our kids really enjoyed the games available and mini pool table in the garage. My only suggestion is the bedding is washed with scented detergent (normal stuff) but if you've got anyone sensitive to smells maybe reach out to the host about an accomodation on fragrance free detergent?
We really enjoyed downtown Georgetown, as well. There are some super cute boutiques along with a bakery and cafe. Victor was so easy to connect with if we had any questions and was very kind.
Highly recommend the house!
We came to Georgetown to deliver paintings and found this great spot to stay. The owner was quick to respond to all communications. The property was so enjoyable he has games available for inside or out. Must visit the Irish pub in town Slainte public house. A hidden jem that we enjoyed very much.
The house was in a great location for the attractions we visited. The Ark and The Kentucky Horse Park. The house offered plenty of room for the two of us and the fenced in back yard was perfect for our pets. Our host responded promptly when we had questions and took care of every concern
The property was clean and as described on the listing. Very convenient to other locations. Great communication from the host! We enjoyed our stay here and were glad we could bring our dogs along for the trip!
This house is perfectly appointed. Every need was anticipated and provided. Even laundry soap! This property is spotless and tidy. The location could not be better if you will be at the Kentucky Horse Park.
