Fabulous boutique hotel. Great location in the upmarket town of Frankfort. Lots of bars, restaurants and coffee shops in directly area. Lobby area is linked to a great bar restaurant downstairs…. Can park outside on quiet side road between 5pm to 10am overnight but other car parking not far. A very special small town with lots of old charm and character the hotel is perfect for people seeking this…

Check in was a bit difficult because there is no staff. and you were supposed to pre check in like an Air B&B. It was a good thing the people at the bar were able to help. The room was wonderful.

Upon arrival our original room hadn't been cleaned. I sent a text to their number and received an immediate response. They were very apologetic and assigned us to another room right away! Customer service is top notch! We absolutely loved the room! The bed is so comfy and linens smelled nice and fresh. The building is very secure. I don't think there's much worry about that though because the neighborhood seemed really clean and friendly. This will be my to go place when we visit Kentucky! Thank you for a pleasant stay!

Couple of recommendations - add a table lamp into the 2nd bedroom, with no window its very dark to only have an overhead light. - wd 40 the bedroom doors - leave a spare roll of bathroom tissue ours was almost empty when we arrived with no spare - I sent a txt about this and never received a response - provide tissues

The room was decent, could use a good cleaning. What is seriously lacking is insulation!! The rooms are so incredibly loud. I could hear every footstep and word from above, the band playing below in the bar until late, street noise, etc. Definitely not for anyone who needs sleep. I wouldn't stay again.

The St.Clair was a unique property that was warm, welcoming and very comfortable. The staff communicated frequently via text or email to ensure our stay was going smoothly. We loved the decor and cleanliness of the St. Clair. There were many options for dining within walking distance and attractions were a short drive away. The Howser Tavern inside of the St.Clair is beautifully appointed, has a wonderful and friendly staff and delicious cocktails and food. I would highly recommend a stay at the St.Clair. We hope to return one day soon!

I stayed here for 4 days. It's located in a really cool part of Frankfurt with plenty to do on your stay. The room was decorated well, and it had a fully stocked kitchen setup. It is quite chic and modern in appearance. But, it was a miserable stay while in the room. The bed didn't feel right and I slept horribly the first night. I sweated by *** off, and woke up with a head ache. Upon investigation I find that the bedding is made of plastic, the kind you might find on a crib mattress. Not just the bed cover, but the duvet cover was plastic, the pillow covers were plastic, everything except two thin sheets. I don't know if you've ever slept in a plastic bag, but I sucks. The second reason I slept poorly was the floor is very slanted and uneven. I dropped a gatorade bottle and it immediately took off across the room. I then tried to replicate this and sure enough the floor was slanted enough that the bottle would take off on it's own across the room. Back to the not sleeping, I could sleep because the head of the bed was downhill from the foot of the bed. Another major issue was the parking. The parking garage was narsty, like bat****, musty smelling grossness. On top of that the stairways and elevators getting to the elevator were ever worse. I checked out and the hotel kept sending me requests to rate them. If it wasn't going to be a 5 star review they wanted to know. I told them everything I'm writing here, at which point I never heard from them again.

The size of the apartment was perfect. It felt homey! The location was excellent for walking to the restaurants and bars. We have stayed in Kentucky previously, in several hotels, however the St Clair has been the best experience by far!

We never received access code or room information prior to arrival. Upon arrival we called to get said information and were told the 2 bedroom suite we booked (for 3 adults and 1 child) was not available and there had been a booking error. We were offered a one bedroom option which we took after driving 3.5 hours and it was 10pm. Awful customer service. Minimal effort made to make up for the error.

Okay but could be a great place

Clean and nice kitchen but furniture and bed was not comfortable. Nowhere to unload your bags except at the street and parking was in garage across the street. There was no parking spaces available upon arrival. The place has great potential with a few upgrades.
