This was a beautiful, new hotel, which thought of everything in the design. Great lobby with breakfast options in the morning. There is a workspace as well as an area for kids or adults to congregate. The rooms were comfortable and very clean.
Tru is a fairly basic hotel, lovely and clean, but no tea/coffee or microwave in the room, though it was available in the lobby. Had a fantastic and friendly check in by Dallas.

Conâs: Thin walls in rooms, loud traffic noise
Experienced a scary situation with someone near our room around 2 AM. Woman screaming, throwing things in their room. This on for a while. Called front desk and they did offer to move us but it was the middle of the night and we didnât want to pack everything up on top of being scared. Hotel only offered 500 Hilton Honor points which are not a benefit for me. Will not be back. Romantic getaway was ruined.
Super nice staff! The gentleman that checked us in was so friendly & professional. This location is perfect! Itâs close to Hamburg, but not in the central chaos of Hamburg so thatâs even better! Itâs easy to get back on 75. Itâs near anything you could possibly need. My only complaint is the noise. The walls seem to be extremely thin and all night long we heard what sounded like kids wrestling & a rolling chair sliding across the floor above us. I personally would request the top floor if you stay here. We may have just been staying at the same time as a rowdy crowd.
Iâd give it another chance though for the location!
The staff were absolutely wonderful and the lobby was beautiful. There was pool and large sized Jenga. Coffee and tea all day. The beds were just way too hard. Both my sister and I could not hardly get any sleep.
Wonderful stay as always, you simply can not beat the modern vibes, clean showers and comfortable beds at a Tru. The Tru at Hamburg no different. We had a late check in and the host was very kind and accommodating.
